One would expect that such a close staff member to the senator would know far better than to be joking around like that. This further exemplifies that Republicans think not only women and common people other than the rich are a joke but that a potentially deadly illness is also something to joke about. They spend all of their time joking about matters of illness so that at the end of the day they have no time left to take care of the nation's business.
Though mister Muniz might be wrong joking about a serious disease, I must admit he captured the coincidence quite accurate. What seems more peculiar to me here is that mister Muniz is making fun of the act that his chief lobbied... An interesting controversy.
