Sessions met with Russian envoy twice last year, encounters he later did not disclose

Heh, I should have italicized the other part too; Is that an official part of the campaign? Was he asked to do work specifically? Was he paid? Or did he do that on his own (as surrogate implies)?
I'm aware that he was a surrogate and "campaigned", but I'm not sure what legal capacity that brings as compared to being an official member of the Trump campaign.

My point is, you could have been out campaigning for Trump, but that didn't mean that was official. So any talks you had with nefarious individuals wouldn't be linked to Trump.

What I have trouble with understanding is what, if anything, Trump and his administration have to gain from these alleged close ties to Russia, and vice versa. After all isn't Russia supposed to be America's sworn enemy with a brief period of reasonably stable relations during the Gorbachev perestroika and glasnost era.
Don't misunderstand me, I'm no supporter of Trump, merely a bit puzzled as to what the endgame might be.

 

Perhaps some of Trump's people, or what may be left after all this , is that some of them have energy dealings with the Russians, tillers comes to mind and Exxon, and are hoping to cash in big, like billions$$$. But Russia and the Kremlin aren't always a safe bet, investments aren't that well protected there and can end up "missing" , or rules change by the hour there��, whereas in Europe, north America, its a safer climate with checks and balances. As what's in it for Kremlin, well sanctions for one, more of a free hand in eastern Europe, but I can't see it, these two have conflicting philosophies and I can't see it lasting, something like Obama's reset. Messing around in Ukraine, georgia, etc for the russkis is one thing, but involvement in usa/uk, is another, these two have nasty intelligence, cia/ mi6, services and can do horrible things to you...imho.

 

Oh my God, what is this country coming to. Why we even have pictures of those epitomes of virtue Shumer and Polosi with Vladimir Putin and Medvedev no less.

Are you able to understand the difference between meeting with Russians, and lying about it; in having contact, and being surrounded by people who have had secret contact.

If half the Obama administration had done this, we would have seen mobs descending on the White House with pitchforks and axes.

 

Oh then Sessions was surrounded by Russians in secret contacts.

This is getting serious, it's no joking matter anymore. Not only did Polosi lie about not having had contact with the Russian ambassador, but more photos are appearing with Schumer and Vladimir Putin. WHAT'S GOING ON?

Are all these hallabaloos and lies about Trump and Sessions connections with Russians a cover up for their own actions? Is Polosi and Schumer double agents? One has to wonder?

It's time the American people demanded a full investigation of these covert agents.
