The seizure of Infidel girls and their use as sex slaves is sanctioned in the Qur’an. According to Islamic law, Muslim men can take “captives of the right hand” (Qur’an 4:3, 4:24, 33:50). The Qur’an says: “O Prophet! Lo! We have made lawful unto thee thy wives unto whom thou hast paid their dowries, and those whom thy right hand possesseth of those whom Allah hath given thee as spoils of war” (33:50). 4:3 and 4:24 extend this privilege to Muslim men in general. The Qur’an says that a man may have sex with his wives and with these slave girls: “The believers must (eventually) win through, those who humble themselves in their prayers; who avoid vain talk; who are active in deeds of charity; who abstain from sex, except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess, for (in their case) they are free from blame.” (Qur’an 23:1-6)

She becomes like your wife, (but) she doesn’t need a (marriage) contract or a divorce like a free woman, nor does she need a wali. All scholars agree on this point—there is no disagreement from any of them. […] When I want a sex slave, I just go to the market and choose the woman I like and purchase her.

Half the reason they went after the Yazidi for their women is it is well known some of them have blue eyes. Many of them have lighter European-type hair too.

That's probably how much of the population looked in the Middle East before the Islamic invasions (from the Arabian peninsula) beginning in the Seventh Century.

The Yazidis are a small last remaining remnant of an ancient population, that mostly did not intermary outside their religion. The Chaldean Christians are another such group. They've both lived under mild oppression as second class citizens for centuries but were nominally tolerated (often because the rulers could extract tax out of them for being non-muslim).

The muslims were the first to take the slave trade out of Africa and turn it into a thing of international commerce.

So the infrastructure was all there several hundred years before the Americas got in on it.

The muslim world mostly didn't need African slaves, but most of them were turned into eunechs to guard harems. Someone big and strong who they didn't have to worry about leaving alone with the women. Also having a Black slave was seen as something exotic so it was a bit of a status symbol too.
If they wanted women to fill the harems, they turned to the North.

 

In fact it is Muslims who are carrying out the slave trade today while Christians worked hard to stop it.

Let me repeat, in case that sounds so incredible some of you have trouble understanding what's being said here.
These countries all have fairly sizeable muslim populations now, and a muslim from, say the U.S. or England, travelled to Northern Iraq to fight the war there on the side of the terrorists. Don't think it can be stated clearer than that.
