Really? Witnesses of the event reported the shooters own words that he was targeting black people. WOW!

 

I'd wager that it is easier (and safer) to be black in most white areas than it is to be white in most black areas.

 

As much as it takes till everyone black and white understands being a racist dilweed isn't a good thing.

 

Which was found out after the initial shooting took place. Still didn't stop the jumping to conclusions by some people.

 

As the video shows this person was targeting white people. Now what.

 

Except there's really only an effort to stop whites from being racists. Minorities seem to get a pass on it, since it helps with identity politics, which helps Democrats win elections.

 

They weren't witnesses, they were friends and associates of Dylann Roof before he committed his crime but it's off topic here. Only except to prove that while we knew nothing about the shooter and his motives at the time, everyone jumped on race.

The victim was white, and the assaulter was black, but that doesn't mean that it was racially motivated. WE DON'T KNOW WHAT THE MOTIVATION WAS. It could have been race, or boys, or drugs, or haircare, or whatever. WE DON'T KNOW.

Before any witness statements were given, before his identity was discovered, before they found his website and social media postings, we were told about a racist attack happening in South Carolina.

 

so when are we going to have the national discussion about black on white racism?

If the races and roles were reversed you would have Obama on TV calling for a Department of Justice investigation.... If a bunch of white teens were beating a black woman holding a baby it would be on the front page of every national paper and on every major news outlet across this country - not only that but blacks would be in the streets demanding justice.

 

I would love to see what they get charged with... not just the one woman attacking but the others who did nothing to stop it, and encouraged it with taunts...

depending on the state they are in, most laws automatically make it a felony if you kick someone, since shoes become classified as weapons in most states, to differentiate different types of assault with hands versus weapons etc etc... (this is why I tell people in states with laws for weapons permits, to get one, because then it would be legal to use your foot as a weapon, some consider it a concealed weapon since the shoe conceals the foot, I know its nutty, but this is something thats been argued long ago in most of them)... and depending on her injuries this could go from a simple assault charge to a serious felony... I'd love to find out...

but even more than finding out what she gets charged with, I would LOVE to know what she ultimately gets as a punishment, will the judge stay her sentence and she basically ends up with nothing more than walking out the front door on a promise she'll be a good little girl... because I often see these issues in my city resolved by letting them off the hook with a stayed sentence... in fact an officer was shot the other day in my city, by someone who twice has been given a stayed sentence, and was currently on a stayed sentence... we have an exceptionally liberal district attorney who has been written up in national articles for his efforts to find alternatives to locking up black people... and this is the result of what happens when they learn nothing bad happens to them time and time again...

I'm guessing the typical district attorney, give the illusion of being tough for the newspapers, by making it a high class assault case, but then will accept a plead down to 4th degree simple assault with time served for the day in jail she might get while being booked, and released on probation... and depending on the state, I wouldn't be shocked at all if the sentence that was pleaded down to a simple misdemeanor was stayed and she ends up with no punishment... how awful thats my expectation... but sadly its the reality currently...

 

Bull. Sorry, but I call total bull, just because FOX News was slow on the uptick, doesn't mean every other news outlet had their fingers in their ears.

 

We didn't get that CNN report, before we got the Confederate Flag Report. At the time that the shooting took place, no one knew anything and yet suspected a racist motive. And thankfully for them, they were right for once. And the only reason they're witnesses is because they're victims of the heinous crime.

No blinders, just a real-time recount of the information as it occurred.

 

Tell that to people who think a ride in a police van equates to murder.
