I myself live in D.C and would wish to do something and have my voice heard. However because D.C does not have representatives in Congress Besides the presidential election every four years there never is a chance to do much of anything.

I didn't call all leftists slimebags. But a representative coming out of DC of all places would be a piece of shxt to be sure.

So you think that because the people in D.C do not believe as you do they should not get a say in government?
Might I ask you how much you love pakistan?

    Then move to a state.

The very POINT of D.C. was that is wasn't supposed to get a say - the Capital was supposed to be neutral in all matters.

Of course there is a chance to do something. You can vote for Mayor Berry and other Democrats all the friggin time.

And a lot of residents in D.C. just visit other states to vote. All the politicians do that and some of the union members visit lots of other states and vote often.

Leftist and Democrat are not synonymous. Some Democrats are responsible citizens. Not many, but some. You know, like Mayor Barry. Four terms. Or, President Obama, one term. Or Senator Ted Kennedy, forever. Okay, so those aren't responsible citizens but some are.
