    This is not a joke........

I would love to assist P. M. Stephen Harper's son Ben to begin a campaign to
become National Leader of the Conservative Party and frankly.........

although it might cost him millions of dollars in sales annually.... IF.....

the famous singer mentioned in the writing that I put out there a year or so ago

were to campaign for a high public office, here in Canada.........

it could be amazing how much positive fame could be generated by that move.

Mr.Peter MacKay vs ? for National Leader of Conservative Party?

Who would you like to see campaigning for the role of national leader of Canada's Conservative Party now that P. M. Stephen Harper has retired?

I would love to see Mr. Peter MacKay go all out to become national leader.

I live in Central - Nova where he has served as M. P. as well as Minister of Defence and Minister of Justice.

I got an interesting e-mail last week that I keep thinking about because I think that the author of that e-mail could mount a surprisingly effective leadership campaign as well.

It is not going to be easy to convince young people, (especially wealthy and famous ones) to join
Canada's Conservative Party but...... I do have a few ideas on how we could give this goal a good try.

Thank you for commenting on this topic Zeffy.

You are correct... .but the Mr. Ben Harper that I am referring to in the opening post is actually
retired P. M. Stephen Harper's son who is in his twenties.

I believe that Canada's Conservative Party needs to a serious make over.....
much as The Donald is leading the G. O. P. in a different direction.

It seems to me that a younger candidate could pull this off better than many of
    the old guard Conservatives could.

Whether he should and whether he could are two different things ;). If he did, he may actually win the same way Jessie the Body Ventura won his election even though he wasn't a politician. He had a terrible time in office though, I'm sure the same would happen. But it really is ture, if youre famous you could seriously win a surprising amount of votes just because people like a good joke like that. Take Boatymcboatface for an example.

I initiated a somewhat tongue in cheek application for the Virgin Earth Challenge back in
2007...... that actually could turn out to be worth something one of these days......

if it was promoted in the right way.

My two somewhat humorous submissions for $25 million Virgin Earth Challenge.

Back in 2007 Sir Richard Branson and Mr. Al Gore announced the Virgin Earth Challenge!

I had watched "An Inconvenient Truth" several times already and I was thinking about another angle on the subject that would fit better with Isaiah chapter 35.

    Considering his age.....
and the fact that he could go anywhere in The Netherlands where he would desire to go.......
it was actually rather impressive that he decided to visit the home of Miss Anne Frank..........

although true...... his comment wasn't the most tactful..........
