It is not in my interest to insult the elderly. I have nothing to gain from that. but I noticed older people are more for wars, and they don't seem to care about over spending or creating debt that the younger people will have to pay back, NOT ALL OF COURSE, I'm NOT discriminating, but this is something to think about and to discuss. For example - most of the people shoveling the crap to the left and the right (or demo republic rat circus as it's known) are elderly and retired folks, while the younger people seek change which is Ron Paul who adheres to constitution.

And it's no coinsidence: as our bodies age, they corrupt. I hate to speak out against my father, but I know it's only due to his old age - like all the muslim haters he believes the jews are responsible for all the crap. he was more normal when he was younger, so older folks, debate all you want, but please: for the sake of our nation - STAY OUT of political voting. stay home. with respect.

Most voters are not informed. It's how Obama got elected.

Most voters don't even know how their government works. It's not a problem with elderly voters it's a more larger problem with people of all ages, including young people.

I worry more about the younger voters who were born during (or after) the Reagan administration.

Many have no sense of history and advocate a return to policies that failed in the past.

As for the xenophobia - racism in older folks, I don't think that is the exclusive territory of the elderly.

Look at Arizona and the Southern U.S. It's a way of life.

Those young people you worry about are generally liberal..doesn't that make you happy? They gave us Obama..I know that that makes you happy. They may even give us Obama once again...that should make you ecstatic. Once the 'old folks' have died out, in the not to distant future, you can have your Brave New World. Huxley's Utopia was forecast to be in the 26th century. You'll end up with a few extra centuries.

Well we can not bring back poll tests because if we did that we would never have another (D) hold office anywhere in the nation. I mean that is the only way to be fair. You say the elderly are too dumb to vote? I say liberals (most) are to dumb to vote.

    Case closed unconstitutional.

Maybe Ron Paul doesn’t appeal to older people because like you he lacks the ability to deliver his message correctly to the people. Don’t get me wrong I like Ron Paul and I agree with him on many issues but his delivery is horrible.

Decimalizing drugs is not a message you convey to older voters.

    Delivery is everything.

Older people are also more stuck in their ways. They're much more likely to be racist or have illogical hate for modern things and kids on lawns.

They're obviously incapable of making decisions that are based on the times. Don't let them vote!

Most young people are easily brainwashed and don't know (*)(*)(*)(*) about how the country works either. Should we up the voting age too?

Following your logic, I take it that you don't favor Ron Paul for President since he's 76 years old.

Maybe it has something to do with political leanings?

    Old conservatives = brilliant leaders

Old liberals = in brain decline

Older people are far and away more esily brainwashed. They're also more arrogant too. And they still have primitive racial hatred and homophobia.

Obama is bad, but John McCain would have been worse.

They are more easily brainwashed, look at the support for globalist, corporatist, warmongers Romney and Gingrich, not sure how you could argue that one. The overwhelming amount of you look down on younger voters, and act like you know anything at all, you're certainly arrogant about it. I don't think I even have to argue the racial hatred and homophobia part, just look at the numbers for Gods sake.

    Try again.

John McCain is such a huge flop-flopper and liar, he makes Mitt Romney look steady and honest.

The better of two evils isn't going to cut it anymore. That game has been played for too long.

Well I have stopped voting in off year elections because I cant stomach thieves and liars. This is a little different though. The current president must go and I do like the Newtster. I see him as having the ability to lead and that is what this country need and the current occupant can not do.

Again, absolutely stupid and a typically lame generalization.
