You can't shut down printing presses or cut the power to transmitting antennae in the USA, but you can criticize the Hell out of journos, and that is fine and fine can be, protected speech, exactly as it was designed to be. Half the country criticizes the Hell out of journos every day. You can't arrest journos for lying either. Most of them do that all the day long.
