It's bullsh!t. Hormonal influence is WANING during that period, not increasing. If women are going nuts during those years, it's either a) they're trying to ward of old age by sexing it away, or b) the vile and ridiculous hormone replacement therapy.
Yes, my guy. Consciously or sub consciously she wants to die. And not to scare you but she will succeed. Forest Gump's beloved Jenny - the same story. She died of AIDS because of promiscuous life after being abused by her father. If you haven't seen that great movie, watch it. Get prepared to lose her.
Perhaps she does, perhaps she doesn't. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moriah Anyway, I am a foreigner, so may be that's why is sounds male to me.
I am working through that process now. I love her so much. She is a wonderful person and so caring (about anybody but herself). She deserves so much more than she is willing to settle for. I was abused by my parents my entire life so I had to walk away to save myself in 2017. I chose not to turn to drugs, alcohol, promiscuity or overeating. I wanted to break those patterns and I did. My father passed in June still hating me and I had two relatives die of COVID in January (wow, it's been almost a year) so I am in various stages of grief and she's on the list. Heartbreaking. P.S. I love that movie. "Mama always said..."
Is that a name used in your country? I agree with you but I'm American so I know women with that name. One of my sisters has a unique name and people don't immediately recognize it as female. I have never met anyone else, male or female, with that name.
I'm paying half of my brother's mortgage and I'm about to buy a new Jeep. He is also divorced and has a huge 5 bedroom house. I pay my way and my brother loves having the company. I need my own vehicle and a Jeep Gladiator diesel fits practical and fun. I'll only drive it once or twice per month until I am building my home in the country(hopefully in a few months) until I drive it to the East Coast to visit my granddaughters. I'll keep it for at least 10-15 years, maybe longer. The reason I want to build a house and buy a truck before seriously dating is for self defense. In Texas, the property you bring into a marriage stays yours if you divorce. I don't want there to be any question who owns my property and liquid assets like cash in the bank tend to be pilfered or squandered. Besides, with the real estate market the way it is, I should keep real estate as an appreciating asset instead of my cash in the bank becoming worth less with inflation. I'll make about $160k from the sale of my home in a few days.
No. Maria is the closest. Anyway, it's my bad - Maria, Mariah, Moriah, Mary, Marina - they all have the same root - mother or matter. I should have seen this. That a very brave thin that you did. Keep up the good job!
That's one tough Texan right there! Has granddaughters and thinks building a new house before marrying again. I guess everything is bigger in Texas, even the American dream. No pun intended.
You have a great plan. I think the property laws concerning divorce are the same here in California. That's nice that you are going to build your own house. You'll save a lot of money doing it yourself.
That's funny. Sometimes, I think our baby name books are the size of an index card. I swear if I meet another Jennifer, Jessica, Lauren or Michelle or James, Ricky, Michael or Brad...I'm going to scream. I'm not brave. I'm resilient, but thanks nonetheless.
You're quoting someone else saying he should be removed but you didn't give your position? That's interesting. So you had no particular reason for quoting him. It was just a random quote having no bearing on the issue. I'm not trying to twist your words, I think it's more accurate to say that you are hinting at what you want to happen while maintaining some plausible deniability about having any opinion. None the less, your posts offer a good reason against your premise in this thread; that there is no problem with using real names. One wonders who you will randomly quote for no reason next.
I can see the benefits of this because there would be a lot less people believing they were persecuted their social media required you to use your real name. But in general no I mean you can still lie about it. How would this be verifiable
Thank you, Moriah. I try to use my experience to help others as much as I can. As long as I'm able to do that, my pain was not in vain.
I would not be posting here if real names were required. The nature of a politics board is such that strong emotions and divisions prevail. Depending on what one posts here, half the members like the poster, while the other half hate his/her guts, and it is utterly impossible to please everybody. The Internet is full of crazy people and a few of them are actually dangerous people. We've seen in recent years a rise in violent political confrontations (e.g., airline passengers physically assaulting aircraft staff or fellow passengers over arguments about the federal mask mandate for air travel; there's been more than 5,000 such cases in recent months). Who knows what kind of extremist might want to take action against a poster? I know of horrible doxxing cases, some with real-life consequences (e.g., forum enemies going to extremes of placing fake complaints against a professional on review pages just because they didn't like the opinions the person posted in a forum, resulting in harm to the professional's reputation). One would have to be extremely naïve to be posting in a political forum while using one's real name. There are venues in the Internet where I don't mind using my real name. Here? No way. It depends a lot on the topic. Say, there is a website that congregates wine lovers, and the only topics allowed are comments about the qualities or lack thereof of specific wines, wine-food pairing tips, recipes for nice foods to go with certain wines, etc. A person posting there with one's real name is risking little. But politics, in our extremely divided country? That's a totally different matter.
