    Explain.

Without even looking at the video I can tell you that the either the camera is a fish lens or the angle won't allow it. However I will tell you that you can in fact see a curve just by getting an overseas airline ticket. What you do is you get a straight edge and line it up with the horizon. You'll notice a slight curve.

    So do rocket launches.

Actually it isn't. Why can't I see the street line? Not only that but due to atmospheric conditions sometimes you see more due to humidity. If this is evidence for a flat earth then it should be like that everyday.

Have to look at the videos.

Forgot to look at the link.

It doesn't shrink. What you're seeing is the glare being reduce. Get a telescope with special lens (wielder mask grade) and look at the sun. It stays the same all throughout the sky.

How? What are you even talking about?

That's because (1) the earth is so big that you wouldn't notice that slight of a curve and (2) you're looking at it head on and its. How much slanting do you expect anyway?

    How?
    No it doesn't.

If that were the case then you should only be able to get this illusion certian times of the day and year. And it certainly doesn't explain why can't I see the beach or streets at all.

I looked at one the videos and the wikepedia link. The two last links won't open up for me. However to address the video that can also be explained by a round earth. We live on a big planet and the sun is very far away so those two things will give the same illusion. As for the Wikipedia link I'm failing to see how does that prove a flat earth.

Even Ancient Greeks figured out that the earth is round.

Is this your concept of the earth?

If it is, perhaps you could explain, in your own words, how you account for the solstices and equinoxes.

I read the book "Spray" by Joshua_Slocum a number of years back. He was the first man to sail alone around the world at about the end of the nineteenth century. He said that there were very prominent people in South Africa at that time that still believed the Earth was flat. It is strange how every photo taken from the Moon always shows the flat disk facing the camera; never the edge. It must have something to do with tidal locking. Anyone care to do the math?

Any two dimensional picture of a sphere will always show a flat disk.

Given that our current understanding of gravity sees it as a property of mass that has a uniform effect in all directions, how does the condensing of random bits of matter into a single body form a disk?

To start with this is a load of garbage and you are obviously trolling. But it doesn't hurt to entertain this though.

The universe is 2d. Or flat
    https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2017/01/170130083231.htm

If the universe is flat by that extention, the earth must be too. But not in the way you're imagining

The ancient Greeks were some of the first to figure out that the Earth was a sphere and that was several decades before the modern era (A.D.). I find it extremely implausible that the largest conspiracy in the world would have been kept secret for over 2,000 years. And for what purpose? That's the one that gets me the most. What do scientists have to gain by telling everyone the Earth is a sphere if it is really flat?

Is the sun a flat disk in the sky? How do you explain the heat that comes from it everyday?

In 1957 the Soviet Union launched the world's first artificial satellite, Sputnik 1. Since then, about 6,600 satellites from more than 40 countries have been launched by ten countries. According to a 2013 estimate, 3,600 remained in orbit.[1]

Of those, about 1,000 were operational;[2][3] the rest have lived out their useful lives and become space debris. Approximately 500 operational satellites are in low-Earth orbit, 50 are in medium-Earth orbit (at 20,000 km), and the rest are in geostationary orbit (at 36,000 km).[4] A few large satellites have been launched in parts and assembled in orbit. Over a dozen space probes have been placed into orbit around other bodies and become artificial satellites to the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, a few asteroids,[5] and the Sun.

Satellites are used for many purposes. Common types include military and civilian Earth observation satellites, communications satellites, navigation satellites, weather satellites, and space telescopes.

Space stations and human spacecraft in orbit are also satellites. Satellite orbits vary greatly, depending on the purpose of the satellite, and are classified in a number of ways. Well-known (overlapping) classes include low Earth orbit, polar orbit, and geostationary orbit.

Humans circled the Earth untold times in ships from the age of sail through the modern age that alone is enough proof unless every master of a ship was lying and their crews. Good luck proving that.

Well some but not all think the bible tells them the world is flat, held up by pillars. I may have that wrong, but it is something along those lines.

But it would have to be a conspiracy as old as the ancient greeks. But in modern times it would mean that every scientist going back to the beginning of modern science would have to be in on the conspiracy. Some conspiracies cannot get past a simple smell test. This one stinks very quickly and with a most objectionable odor. One has to question the minds that can believe in this conspiracy. And we need a number, how many minds like this do we have? For most appear very rational, but then this happens to them. It is worthy of being studied.

    1. You mean the annual parralax scientific method used for hundreds of years to measure the distance of stars and is the most fundamental mathematical argument against a flat earth? 2. The earth is really small in reference to the universe, but to humans, especially a WEATHER BALLOON a dozen odd miles up, its REALLY REALLY BIG. 3. FACEBOOK SCIENCE! Yay! 4. Water is moving and refracts light differently than....the ground.... 5. The tilt of the earths axis. Do you know what "seasons " are? 6. Atmospheric density changes the refraction of light. I suggest reading your own links, they explain all of this rather well. Why is there a sunset / rise if the earth is flat? What causes gravity? What are rockets used for? Whos hiding behing the ice wall past antarct- bahaha i cant, i just cant. Please just reply that you were trolling.

according to you, compasses dont work because the earth is flat and therefore the dense fluid core rotating cannot form an electromagnetic field, and there is no magnetic north. Come to think of it, there is no Never Eat Soggy Waffles. OH GOD WHERE AM I??? Tell me, have you ever used a real compass to navigate? Ive used it in survival training. And the navigation equipment in small aircraft i fly works just fine. I dont fly in a perpetual arc, like your map indicates i should.

the mass is attracting the random bits of matter from all directions, like you said, in a uniform fashion. And its not a damn disk its a 3d sphere. The objects own density causes it to "pull "itself to the exact center, ie gravity, and if you know basic geometry, given that you understand gravity is acting in a uniform fashion the mass would form a sphere because there would be uniform distribution of matter in all directions, or close, which correlates with the radius.
