    Here we go again.I was not consulted in the least as to a new bar.
    Which means the bar was never raised.And I did High Jumping as an 8th grader.
    I did it more to get out of being a paper boy since I made enough money to buy that folk
    guitar and take lessons.I remember I made $3.50 a week and it took around an hour to
    deliever around 30 newspapers to around 30 customers.Of those 30 customers,
    I got 3 Christmas Presents or Money.I got 50 cents from 2 and a dollar bill from another.
    Most of those on my route were jewish. The rest Gentiles.
    Still ... I was never asked about naming a new bar.
    Therefore I refuse to deliever papers here mush longer.
    Is all.

    Okay, so this Aggie walks into the doctors office...

    ...

    The doctor looks up from his desk, a bit surprised, to see the young man standing there with a big bullfrog sitting atop his head...

    ...

    The doctor says... "What seems to be the problem here?"

    ...

    ...

    The bullfrog replies... "Well Doc, I have this pimple on my ass...."

    :giggle:

    Morning Smartie!!

    I think I'm gonna go for a nice swim. A little exercise, soak up a few rays, time to relax, reflect, and be thankful. ;)

    Have a good day everyone.

    Ciao

    ...I'm a little concerned about Falena. I hope she hasn't fallen from the step-latter, attempting to wash the top of the truck tires, and injured herself.

    :giggle: ...:floating: <------ ...you know!

    Okay, now I'm really concerned. I know Falena hasn't been here, 'cause there's no way in hell she would have let that little gem slide!

    LOL

    Good afternoon everyone!

    Tell you what kind of preserves I like.... pear. YUM! One of the few sweets I truly enjoy. Yeah, I know... you'll all sleep better tonight. *tear*

    Hi Smarts!

    I've never eaten peach, or really even heard of them before reading it today. I'm sure they are good.

    I like the texture of the pear preserves. And another I like, that perhaps you Southern girls have heard of, but unlikely others... watermelon rind preserves. Although unlike most fruit preserves, watermelon rind has little actual taste. It's more about texture and a little sweet. My wanna be girlfriends Mother makes preserves from limons. Believe it or not, they are delicious.

    I like figs probably as well as anyone... but honestly, I can't imagine how sweet they must be when preserved. *shakes* My system is in shock just thinking of it.

    No offense, sweetie... but I'd rather hear about the 'wannabe girlfriend' than the watermelon rind preserves. *winky wink*

    I'm not sure what to say, other than by the very fact she wants to be my girlfriend... she obviously has better "taste" than watermelon rind preserves.

    lol

    ~~~~~~~~~~
    Okay, I get too comfortable and silly with my joking. I apologize if something I said was offensive, seriously. I'll rein it in.
    Fig preserves are to die for.. Hot biscuits and fig preserves yummy for the tummy. Course that tummy will expand if you eat too many preserves with biscuits. Biscuits around my house are only for special days it is not an everyday treat. Got to count calories.
