Bingo ! There ya go.Sorry I dint get back here till just now.
There will never be another like her.Of course Mickey Rooney said the same
of Judy Garland.Spring Byington had the gift.A lot of woman during that era
had it,also. The Gift of being congenitally pleasant and positive and polite.
Just darnright Good.Unlike todays women who think being Good means, being
naughty or selfish or bossy. And it's just getting worse. The degree to which today's
galsy have No inclination at all as to virtue.Everything is all about them.
    Their hair,their clothes,their homes,their station in life.It's 1oo% all about
them as if they're shooting craps in some back alley and they kinda need the
dough. There was absolutely nothing base or selfish or vicious from the kind
of women that Spring Byington personified.Kindness and gentleness and an
inner toughness that holds in the pain that life sometimes throws our way.
Sylvia Sydney was another such galsy. She had the sadest eyes in Hollywood.
There are just a few grand old dames left.Yes,Doris Day and Debbie Reynolds.
    Olivia de Havilland { even though she was mean in - Hush...Hush,Sweet Charlotte - }
    Not so much Shirley MacLaine.
Audrey Hepburn being the last of her kind.

For a change, things are going great. Chilling out and relaxing is great. Been taking some short day trips and planning on taking a big one soon...(hopefully)

I haven't put up anything yet. Making some plans for an extended day trip to find some apples before they are gone. Then I will put up some apple butter.. Nothing is as great as apple butter on a cold winter morning.. Might put up some tomatoes, they are starting to come in, (fall crop). I do have some chilli peppers that I am going to dry and grind.

That sounds like a good plan. Y'all are going here and yonder, which leads to the obvious question....where is yonder?

I want to go to Canton for First Monday, never been and thought it would be fun. Husband said Baton Rouge but I want to go farther..who knows. To travel to Wyoming and see snow would be great. Snow is already there and to see it would be great. Wanderlust is appealing..

Yes it is, and we are looking forward to something similar. Perhaps we run into each other in this beautiful country of ours.

You have been to First Monday? How cool. You never know we just might run into each other. The road less traveled is always the best but First Monday is definitely not the less traveled one..lol. It seems like a fun trip to take, especially in the fall.

No, sadly we never have been. The road less traveled, now that is something intriguing. Seeking out new hiking trails and such, stopping in the middle of nowhere, or just putting the car on cruise and see where it goes, now that is something we will, hopefully, enjoy in the near future.

Less traveled roads will sometimes give up a serendipitous experiences. You never know who you will meet or what you will see.

Personally I think it sometimes best to gradually work in some MORE than
    Casual Chat.Into the conversation.
What were we talking about again.
Oh ! yeah what ever happened to Streaking.Like where did it goad.?
I mean,I have no problem with some of the office gals Streaking just a wee bit
during their lunch breaks.Just to get the practice.

    I dunno.Peaches aren't what they're cracked up to be.They bruise easy.In fact,most
ants can bruise a peach just by snuggling up to one.A peach, that is.
Plus peach git old way too easy.Like I give a spring peach about a week
ford it turn old and gray and needs dentures and can't fit into the garter belt
    and hose of yesteryear.
    What's so hotsy-totsy about a peach,anywho.? I mean,even old Tomatos are
good fur somethin'. Like throwing at bad actors or Politicians.
