    Wow...you lost your mom at age seven? How did it effect you? I had trouble with most relationships as a young person as I didn't want to get too close because the fear of loss was pretty high.

    Greetings from The Ranch! Here at my friends ranch just down the road from Crawford. 850 acres of HOT! Got family coming in for the weekend, but right now its peaceful and quiet. 2 central air units, 5 bedrooms. My kinda roughing it.

    Dude! EXACTLY the same way. It was really hard for anyone to get to know me. They had to be determined. I didn't trust anyone to not betray me.

    I was married for a while, until she left. Now, I'm a hermit. I'm OK with it.

    I'd take a night under the dark starry skies of your ranch there, with a telescope and then a stay in a guest room until I'm rested enough to come home.

    I hear ya. Wishing I had longer than the weekend. Is it a full moon?

    I would be a hermit too if I lost someone I committed to. I think for folks like us.....when we commit it's pretty deep. Loses are just that much more devastating. Hang in there....

    This has been one of those days for sure. This has been one of those weeks and one of those months. I am not sure if it is the approaching fall, the waning summer or what the hell is going on, but people are absolute batty of late. I swear to God I am not answering my cellphone again until after labor day. I have room for 18 messages in my VM. It currently has 17 in it and I cleaned it down to 3 Monday. That last one will be first come, first serve. Just because your crazy is important to you doesn't mean I should give a crap. /rantoff

    My Mother died from breast cancer, I was the caregiver, well my husband and my sons were also involved. It was devastating and definitely a learning experience. If you don't know yourself before you will know yourself after the experience. Being a caregiver will introduce you to a whole new side of your personality. You will do things you thought you could never do, you will be a better person because of it.

    I really have no idea what is up with people. At work yesterday someone was put on hold and got disconnected/dropped so the woman who worked about a quarter mile away took off work, marched her fat backside up the street and had an absolute bitchfit in the middle of the lobby because of how unprofessional it was that her call got disconnected and she would never be doing business with us again and she was just letting us know this as a professional courtesy. That is just one of many examples of just bizarre crap going on in the universe. Must have something to do with the approaching solar eclipse because if there is a doomsday cult associated with it, they may be onto something for once.
