    I got this call from Hardhead this morning.

    "You forgot Minnesota."
    I called back figuring you dialed the wrong number and it was an important message for someone else.
    No answer. I waited and figured Ill try one more time to call and leave a message, you called the wrong number.

    I call and hear, "What happened, you forgot?
    I said, "What are you talking about? I forgot Minnesota? Whats that even mean?"

    "You forgot to put the mini soda in my lunch this morning."

    If I had a beer in my hand and was looking at that Id say, It kinda looks like you need a 2x4 window sill type plate to run under that window to help carry the load before you stud out that wall, no?
    If I had a few more beers Id say, do you have the material to finish this and an extra hammer? Ill give you a hand if you want.

    lol No but Ive knocked a lawn chair over that had a full set of keys sitting on them. Ran the keys over and they got blown about 5' in the woods all mangled.

    You got it exactly correct. I do everything by myself and can always use help. And no...haven't got the screen yet but have all the material for framing. Will probably build a bench from old wood for sitting. And may build a deck for outside living from the heart pine.

    I have always worked in labor intensive jobs. When I stopped working I got lazy ...and health problems cropped up. It almost killed me. I needed physical activity. The work keeps me alive....and it saves money...something I never had much of. I didn't make much money from the job...a little for copper...and a little for steel scrap...but I saved thousands.

    Im looking at that and thinking, someone could have built that house out of love with grand designs for a life ahead of them. How temporary things really are in this life. We borrow nature to survive and when we are gone nature carries on.
