You know there's a theory that alien abductions happen all around the world, but that were hear about the ones in America because they're the only ones the aliens send back.

 

It's not bad actually it's actually expected that I will sit on my phone for about 3 hours out of the shift because well there's just not a whole hell of a lot to do after this things I need to get done are done in a timely manner.

I would go and look for a different job but I haven't done so yet because I work for a very nice family that are also friends at this point.

When I broke my ankle a year ago yesterday I considered myself lucky just to still have a job but my boss paid me $110 a week even though I neither expected nor asked for it the entire almost 3 months I was out

 

I did actually look around on all the cameras just on the off chance that she was telling the truth but nothing was chasing her but likely drug-induced delusions.

If I wanted to be mean I could have told her that's not the cartel that's the Illuminati but they told me not to tell you.

But of course I don't want to do anything to exacerbate such delusions but I'm not qualified and equipped to handle such things and I don't have time for that. I have a store to run so I don't have time for such delusional BS.

 

Psychotherapy should be part of the training for your job by the sound of it.

That's a good boss looking after a good employee. I employ around 120 people, there's some I would move heaven for and others who just take the pee. I know which ones to go the extra mile for.

I've been looking for a couple of months now and everything seems to be an hour's drive away.

 

I would absolutely not work a job like this in a big city without being armed.

The city is only 4.2 square miles with a population of 8,000 in a very rural county but over the 13 years I have lived here I have seen things change but of course that's true everywhere.

It seems like we're getting a lot more homeless drug addicts that come out and wander around all night.

They explicitly require a male to do the night shift because they do not want a female working alone at night

You see signs out there warning you to have a full tank of gas because the next gas is so far away

 

Speaking of road signs.... Where 41 makes a turn down in South Florida crossing the state from east to west through the Everglades..... There are signs that I had never seen before saying that the speed limit drops down lower after dark due to all of the wildlife.... Makes sense though

My friend used to work my same job before he went somewhere else. Yesterday he was telling me about a lady that came in and the wee hours and kept dumping out ice and looking into the cup.

So he asked her to stop wasting the ice and she said that there was bugs in it and then she kept looking behind the sweet tea containers and asked him where they were coming from and he said where is what coming from..... And she said the bugs.

Hallucinations of bugs and worms are common with meth use.

I would have told her I know exactly how you can get rid of them..... If you take your ass home and go to sleep and leave that dope alone, the bugs will magically disappear ! Lol
