Gin or vodka? My favorite version of a martini is two ounces of chilled gin, an olive and whiff the cork from a bottle of vermouth over it a few times.

I've been in the market for a new car for quite awhile now, but couldn't decide what I wanted. Rented a little Chevy Sonic on vacation and fell in love with it. Checking into deals this weekend. 4 cyl turbo with plenty of power and an a/c that will freeze you out. Two must-haves.

Whaddya think? Anybody know anything about this model?

Don't know anything about it. But... we rented a Prius on accident. The rental car lot didn't have the Dodge 300 they reserved for me for our trip to California, so we went up the street to another rental lot and just as I asked if they had anything they could give us, a lady drove up returning a Prius. Take it, he said, so we did. Loved it. When we got back and returned it we went straight to the dealership to see how much they were, and drove off with one. Easiest sale the guy ever made. Heh

Yeah yeah yeah, I know, some pretty sanctimonious do-gooders drive them thinking they're saving the earth, but I love that car anyway. No 'coexist' bumper sticker by the way. Excellent automobile.

Where do the golf clubs go?

I traded in my VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI. 4 months ago. It would seat 5 and carry 200 lbs of tools in the back. My best tank was 48mpg. Awsome car. I traded it because the maintenance was expensive and my boss buys my fuel.

Here was the funnest car I've ever had.

Smartie - The chevy is good looking, but I don't know about getting a turbo. If it breaks, it will be expensive. If you plan to trade it before the warranty is up, it'll be fine. Have you considered the Mazda 3?

2 - 3 oz. Gin or Vodka, spill some dry vermouth into a glass think about some vermouth, lemon twist twisted in the shaker, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, shake, spill a few drops of dry vermouth into a wide wine glass, throw out, strain gin mix into glass. Sip slowly, limit two per customer.

I used to rock on Vodka martini's back in the TV days, but this should only be done with gin. Vodka makes a great black pepper martini....that clears the nostrils!

    Happy Saturday!

I have work tomorrow, so am finishing up both yard work (hopefully about the last for the summer) and making a little cart for an 80 cu ft bottle of Argon that will be used for TIG welding.

Morning! Lol~ you don't like cats? I love them. They're fascinating animals and very smart, but then all animals are intelligent.... moreso than some humans I know.

I had a black Manx, Moxy, who gave me 14 yrs of laughter & annoyance. Had the craziest personality I'd ever seen in a cat.

No rest for the working man! Hope you got it all done. Might be wishful thinking about that yard thing... just went out to the feed the birds and my side yard is looking real lush & green after that little rain we got.

    Back to Mexico?

Most of the yard work was done, still a little bit of trimming to do, but I blew it off in favor of building the rig to hold the Argon bottle.

Yes, Mexico. Mexico is on my agenda next month too but I also have a vacation coming up and some stateside duties on the calendar. Mexico is a bit of a hassle due to customs. I have Global Entry which helps, but it's still a pain. The best part is the food; the food is excelente!

I was awake when this post was made! Miracles of miracles.

Of course I was getting ready to reunite with some babes from my rock band years
who toured with us. That was about 40 years ago. They showed up to our Saturday
    afternoon gig. Talk about WOW!

It's Saturday. Doesn't your town have an ordinance that states that yard work
can only be done Monday thru Friday and between 9am and 5pm?
