I assumed that was rhetorical. Prisons are far more structured, its obvious from your pithy aside you've never even seen a county jail. I'm not helpless, I own a gun and know how to use it. Repealing the 2nd and replacing it with processes similar to how we regulated driver's licenses will not make me less safe.

Can you name for me a state militia during the time the second amendment was written because the judge obviously couldn't. Let's see if you can do any better
