Oh, where to begin on this? I see nativity scenes all over the place (churches, people's yard, etc). I also can't change the channel on SUndays without some televangelist preaching to the flock and begging for money. If young people are aganist the church then they should look at parents and the actual churches to see why that is. There is no war on Christianity in the UNited States. Here in NC, I can't drive a mile without passing a church and you can't throw a rock without hitting a Christian. You want to know who persecutes Christians? Other Christians.
Banned by whom? Banned how? Last I checked, we have no laws whatsoever in the US "banning" anything related to religion.
yeah, you know nothing about Christians. it's not the specific day that matters, it could be any day of the year.... its the reason for celebration that counts.
Never doing so would be stupid people and churches will keep on having Christmas as long as they wish with virgin births angels surprising shepherds and all that crap
And you know nothing about "censorship"....I listed several incidents on both broadcast and cable TV where the story of both the Nativity and Christ's life are highlighted, as well as Christian broadcasting. Your claim to "censorship"....is false.
As soon as Madonna's Moslem president applies his Union principles to his "Christian" ones; when the Democratic Party of Treason that fought for your rights demands Union dues, and the right to have a job (to buy and sell) with the mark of the Obamanation Union of the ONE. Wanting is not getting, they are not getting it so easy now.
One place, government property. You have and will always have the right to display them on YOUR property. Then that is the fault of the Christian churches and believers. When I grew up there might have been one or two religious broadcast on Sunday morning. Now there are several cable channels that are exclusively religious channels 24/7. Because people object to Christians attempting to gain respect for their faith by government? How absurd.
Indeed. If it were not for the creation of Santa and the commercialization of the holiday it would be just another religious ho hum holiday like Ground Hog day to the average Joe.
this is a blatant attack on christianity, there are many examples like it http://i.huffpost.com/gen/898888/thumbs/o-AMERICAN-ATHEISTS-CHRISTMAS-BILLBOARD-570.jpg?6 http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jOA72oszS...pfJ8/s1600/atheist+billboard+charlotte+nc.jpg
When the GOP realizes the holiday has pre-Christian origins, Jesus was a socialist, and the Episcopal Church is more liberal than our government. 3...2...1...
jesus was a 100% libertarian. he didnt believe in opressive laws, he believed people should give out of the goodness of their hearts
