Excess solar power is a great problem to have - easily remedied, which will happen very quickly. When it does, I expect all of you to simply let this overhyped narrative simply fade away.

I've also discussed rate structures with charging of EVs. During solar peaks, the power companies could easily provide an advantageous usage rate, and more than likely solve this problem without any infrastructure changes. Utilities could even make an APP available that allows them to indirectly control when the EV charges.

That said, some power companies are "anti-renewables", although they'll publicly state the opposite, and they will blow this out of proportion.

Your misleading replies hurts everyone since you continue to ignore the rising prices due to them being part of the mix since the back ups are still running since ruinables are irregular and sometimes absent when wind drops off and cloudy days and no sun at night.

Wind and solar can't replace 24/7 power generation at all.

Your lack of a cogent counterpoint convinced everyone else that you have no argument to offer.

I’ve made my point. Your argument is moot. When every state starts getting 70% of their power from renewables, like Iowa, then we can discuss the limitations that you are railing about.
