Silly question, but on my mind nontheless. Have others noticed that, in many shows, the background music is to annoyingly loud that one can hardly understand the dialogue?
This just irks me to no end. For one, my husband watches different shows in another room, or is concentrating on some of his studies, it also bugs my dogs when I have to turn up the volume just to understand what is going on. Add to that the fact that many actors mumble, and I just turn off the TV and listen to music instead.

I have noticed that, especially in action movies the volume goes up significantly during the action sequences then, during more quiet sequences dialogue is sometimes very low. Cure: Get a wireless headphone set. Sony are the best..
