My point was that the US government has not in any official way stated that aliens exist.

    Sure.

But, I don't believe that is an interesting measure of the efforts of the military and of UFOlogists in general, or of their progress an supporting their claims.

I was responding to the claim that the government has admitted to biological alien entities being found at crash sites.

    That simply isn't true.

    Sorry - I didn't catch that.

    I have serious doubts, too.

France (government) has said that “extraterrestrials” are the best, most obvious, most rational explanation for the UFO phenomena.

A couple of areas of interest in this video are found at 11:00-12:50 and 17:20. However a thorough review of the entire video may reveal evidence that the US government has recognized and stated regarding the existence of UFOs. Harry Reed makes some comments and he funded a program to study UFOs (see the 27:00 timestamp).

That statement by France is the moral equivalent of "I don't know".

I'm fine with studying this issue. But so far, the military has not released what THEY consider to be evidence.

The minute military releases have been found wanting, the military just says that all criticism is wrong, because they edited what they released!!

In science, that gets you fired.

    Can you quote the statement?
