Special counsel investigating Biden’s handling of classified material not expected to bring charges

He spoke to the SC doing the investigation. It's essentially a yes/no question. We might find that out when the MAGA-discredited Hur Report comes out...

 

Notice how they “pre-discredit” even GOP investigative reports when they have an inkling that the report won’t be to their liking?

Should have known better. He was a senator. You don’t really “accidentally” take SCIF stuff and hold onto it for years and years. Either he was grossly negligent with classified info or completely incompetent in dealing with it. I think he should have known better.

 

And you know this was "SCIF stuff" how?

It's not a witch hunt in the case of Trump

He had the documents
He was not authorized to have the documents
He refused to turn the documents over.

Those three elements add up to a violation of 18 USC 793(e)

 

My apologies, I thought you were talking about Trump. My mistake. But Trump has no excuse. Not after ignoring a subpoena, lying about having turned everything over, and trying to destroy evidence.

Why should a former president be above the law?

Trump had the documents
Trump was not authorized to have the documents
Trump refused to turn the documents over.

These are three established facts.
These facts, taken together, add up to a violation of 18 USC 793(e)

Trump faces 31 charges under that statute.

 

Not only refused to turn them over, but obstructed attempts to retrieve them by lying about having already turned them over, hiding them, and trying to erase video evidence. It's dumber than a box of hair to claim that what Biden did was the same.

It is where classified documents are supposed to be stored. He would not have been allowed to remove them from the SCIF and take them wherever he took them that day, during his time as senator. Gets a little murkier with the time as VP.
