Steady Pie Is Coming to Midterms!

    Hi,

    So, I've come into a bit of money and am planning a trip to the United States from November 1st to November 23rd. Dates subject to change slightly.

    I adore politics and would like to make my first trip to the US one in an election. I figure the most important midterms in a generation (or at least, since 2010) is as good a time as any.

    My aims for the trip are as follows:

    1. Play NLH poker in Vegas. I am a fairly capable poker player and think I'd eat up a lot of the fish in Vegas. My goal is to win my accommodation back.

    2. Be present and active during the midterms, not so much advocating for one side or the other, but engaging and exchanging views with people of all persuasions.

    3. Get some cannabis in Colorado. Already been to Amsterdam, but I want to see the Rockies anyway.

    4. Do some shooting, experience the 2nd amendment first hand. Chill with some concealed carry peeps and see what that's like while it's still possible.

    5. Meet some cool people from PF in person and have a pint of beer (or a schooner as you yanks prefer!) If you're ever in Australia I'll 100% return the favor. I can take you to remote places you wouldn't believe.

    To save cost I'm likely to stay West Coast and Central US.

    I am in my mid 20s so preferably people around that age.

    As far as shooting goes, there are gun ranges everywhere, but for your interests, Las Vegas has ranges that rent machine guns for shooting. Those seem particularly popular with foreigners who aren't allowed to enjoy that in their home countries. Orlando is another area that has machine guns for rent.

    My mom and stepdad just got back from there and as a birthday gift we got him a shooting package. He got to shoot the 50 cal. said it was amazing.
