During my time away from PF I've learned some very interesting new information concerning England's beloved "Ancient Druid" tourist bait site, affectionately known as Stonehenge.

Turns out, the site was completely overhauled using cranes.

Concrete foundations were poured and the stones were set BACK UP into these new foundation slabs.

The stones were nothing more than a broken pile in the 1800s, and even that loose validation of their existence comes only in the form of hand drawn depictions. Prior to that, there are zero literary or artistic historical references to the site. Surely someone would have mentioned it at some point during all those "millenia", but nope. Nobody ever did.

England loves to tell you about how fantastically advanced their ancient ancestors were by showcasing these impossibly huge stones and pretending they've stood just as they are for "thousands of years", but this simply is not the truth.

They like to refer to their outright fakery as "restoration projects", but by doing what they've done with all sorts of modern technology, they have completely invalidated the alleged authenticity the site may (or may not) have ever had. This includes the stone's astrotheological alignments with specific religiously significant constellations.

If the Roman Coliseum were completely torn down and rebuilt to look newer, would you still call it 100% Authentic? No, you wouldn't. But that's exactly what England expects us to do when it comes to their little tourist trap.

We can only speculate as to why England's power elite wants the world believing in the notion that they were so outrageously advanced, such a long long time ago, but its not too difficult to come to some pretty obvious conclusions when you really think about it. I'll leave all that up to the reader.

Here's a few videos for the folks who will inevitably demand "proof" like the well programmed robot droids they are. Try not to get too upset as you see cranes, concrete trucks and ropes being used to artificially position these massive stones into the contrived configuration of a pagan religious temple. Try not to get too shaken up as images of Stonehenge's fraudulent construction shatter your programmed ideals concerning this false historical circus side show of fakery...

How about you check out the extremely large amount of photographic proof I provided, before posting so hastily and irrationally?

Most English people bear no relationship to Neolithic Britons.

HMMM........if Stonehenge is such a "tourist trap" , why does only 'bout 800,000 people visit it each year?
With an average of approx 40,000 visitors a DAY, Disneyland (all) equals Stonehenge in 'bout 3 weeks.
Leave it to those Brits to "build" a tourist trap and not get very many tourists..........

It's not impossible. I don't think the restoration discredits them though. They show that the ancients were mathematicians.

Why is longevity of a structure it's only validation? The spinx has been restored too. No one's chimping about that.

They weren't built by celts or druids. They were built by SOME of the ancestors of celts AND English.

Lol. It doesn't work like that. But nice try.

I'll rephrase. 70% of British people's Dna is inherited from neolithic hill people. We are more them than we are gallish celt, or germanic saxon. :)

I'm an Aussie but an Aboriginal of Britain. My ancestors were the first there as when the ice age receded enough to allow human habitation.

Ever done a DNA trace? Would be interesting. My ancestor came here from England in 1670 and my name is not that common but English. Some married Germans along the way.

How about posting a link to a credible scientific source that supports your claim?

    Around WWI

Throughout the thousands of years of history it had been changed so setting some of the stone back up is nothing new.

Stonehenge isn't fake, but it was indeed "restored" in a way that slightly changed its original appearance.

here is what it originally looked like in 1877:

    here's 1885:

There is nothing wrong with stabilizing the site.
