Which could be said about literally anything, and vice versa. I could, for example assert that many conservatives know considerably more about agriculture than the average liberal. See how cool that works?

What we so frequently fail to hear though is that so many of the faithful are so often able to regurgitate the entire dogmatic catechism. It speaks volumes to rote and practice...

The knowledge of how the atmosphere works came from scientists as did the knowledge of fossil fuel burning caused global warming over the past 200 years.

The denial movement began about twenty years ago in right-wing think tanks by political hacks.

It is obvious which side is scientific and which one is political. But then, knowing nothing about science, or the way nature works, politics is all you have. And dishonest politics at that.

Fun stuff here. The assertion of "knowing how the atmosphere works"... Ok, demonstrate. How much X leads to how much Y where CO2 is X and Y is increase in temps? We'll wait. And while you're at it, you can them sublimate the naturally occurring CO2 vs the anthropogenic as, of course, they are not the same. Waiting....

Yes but liberals aren't posting things that demonstrate their total ignorance of agriculture while claiming that all the farmers are on their side like many conservatives are.

But then ignorance is the bread and butter of conservative thought, isn't it? Kind of like how ya all keep claiming global warming is a hoax. For instance, how many posts have you posted on the subject of global warming? Hundreds, and every one of them ignorant of the science, and the reality that abounds.

All you have is typical conservative smarminess.

Do you ever think that you and your small band of scientifically illiterate comrades, most of whom have never seen the inside of a college, somehow have more, and better, knowledge than the whole of the scientific community? If so, how come none of you have anything scientifically intelligent, or even scientifically honest, to say?

The problem lies in your brain and the indoctrination that was laid down well before you could make a decision on the subject. It is why your brain cannot process global warming. After all your god would never let us warm the earth too much.

I've already explained this several times. Obviously you don't want to know. Possibly it is beyond your understanding. After all you do have that jealously thing going on for people who have attended college.

Sure thing. Keep telling yourself you are superior if it makes you feel better.

Stop the presses... this one is astounding. INO wins the Nobel physics prize, solves atmospheric puzzle, and no one knows. This is awesome stuff. So, if you're already posted, feel free to post again. Repetition seems good for the catechism. I can't stop laughing....:roflol:

This is the truly fun part You're willing to make a generalization that frankly you know to be false, and then you make it any way. Of course climate changes. We got it. It isn't magic. Now, tell us why. You, science in general, no one actually has a definitive answer. Do you? Why isn't there a mile thick sheet of ice covering NYC today? What changed? Oh wait, you can't tell me because you don't know.

So, hide behind the shield of "science" and you still are getting wholloped. Why? Because your science doesn't demonstrate any positive explanation of the question, why. But hey, you told me you could express a formula that tells me this much of this equals that much of that, and you ran away from that too... I doubt this will be different.

now, it's 2017, sea-level is rising and climate is warming

Sea level was rising at the same rate it is now in 1871.

millimeters. and yet, it's histrionic. That trend line is eventually going to flatten. And then what? Even though Greenland exponentially increased it's overall ice coverage in the last couple of years, the breathless left and media are "predicting" that feet of sea state rise is just on the immediate horizon. You would never know that said breathlessness isn't real, and only predicted. And that, truly is the problem.

However, since calculus is beyond the understanding of most global warming deniers, if I were to start writing out equations, all of you deniers would be just as lost as if I were speaking a dead language.

nasa and noaa say sea-level is rising faster, now

"Global sea level has been rising over the past century, and the rate has increased in recent decades. In 2014, global sea level was 2.6 inches above the 1993 average—the highest annual average in the satellite record (1993-present). Sea level continues to rise at a rate of about one-eighth of an inch per year."

"The two major causes of global sea level rise are thermal expansion caused by warming of the ocean (since water expands as it warms) and increased melting of land-based ice, such as glaciers and ice sheets. The oceans are absorbing more than 90 percent of the increased atmospheric heat associated with emissions from human activity."

Yet not one tide gauge shows any acceleration. Only tide gauges are used for coastal planning. Instead you have to rely on a grafting satellite data onto averaged tide gauges to show acceleration that does not exist in the real world. In fact they recently adjusted the satellite data to show less rise.

satellites show the acceleration clearly, despite your misinformation

"Sea level rise is caused primarily by two factors related to global warming: the added water from melting ice sheets and glaciers and the expansion of sea water as it warms. The first graph tracks the change in sea level since 1993 as observed by satellites."

Instead of arguing here on a political forum, why aren't you arguing on a scientific forum? Besides the obvious being in over your head issue.

Who says I don't? But that's mostly irrelevant. You still cannot fundamentally answer the question asked.. So, instead? Ad hominem. You assert that you "understand", I assert you simply believe. As in deep faith, religious faith even. Ta.....

You and your assumptions. And yet, you actually provide evidence. Fun how that works, huh?

The reason that you don't go to science forums is because all of you posts would end up in the pseudoscience catagory.

Actually, global warming denial belongs in the behavior and psychology catagory.

Does it matter to you? I would think not. Which wasn't the point. Do you understand yet? The obvious observation is the profession though of the faithful acceptance of the AGW dogma that others here are ascribing to.

Ad hominem away. It still doesn't change the fact that you can't answer the questions, nor, frankly, can science today. And yet, here you are professing your expertise. It is enjoyable. Laughable even. Thanks.

    Yeah?

Please show me the correlation and causation between CO2 and global warming.
