    mainly because much of it involves Skels shooting other Skels. Drug dealers who get ripped off or even shot tend not to report the "crimes"

    Hey officer, I was sitting here on the street corner with 50 nickel bags of blow and Willie Da Pimp capped my associate and winged me and stole my entire stash

    why do you care-this is America-we don't care what foreign SUBJECTS think of our country. If you don't do drugs or have sex with drug dealers, your chance of getting shot is probably less than your chance of being bitten by something poisonous in Australia

    O that's the best part: I'm not required to justify it, just as I'm not required to justify free speech or free exercise or why I bought tacos today instead of a sandwich. Or why I prefer my fiance over some vacuous hose beast.

    See cause over here we have these pesky rights that get in the way of proper totalitarian (*)(*)(*)(*)ery.

    First, all armed robbers contradict your statement. Armed robbers aren't carrying a gun for their own protection, but to threaten victims. That is the definition of armed robbery.

    This sounds like you are saying that criminals almost have a RIGHT to carry guns because their victims might fight back.......there is no LOL emote big enough for the response......

    But you COULD make it harder for them to get their hands on a gun in the first place - especially those starting out on a criminal career - the young teen in particular - you know the once that are dying in the thousands?

    While I do not necessarily disagree with this - it might explain why there are so many American superheros and so few Australian or English Superheros

    How would you do that exactly?

    Society never grows past this, and never has. Historically speaking, of all the categories of "undesirables" violent criminals get zero sympathy from me. Any human being that has zero respect for another human beings basic right to life and liberty should be excised like a cancer from that society.

    OK - let us start with the restrictions on guns - make owners legally responsible for what happens - no more under the table selling. You sell a gun you are responsible to ensure the person you are selling it to does not have a criminal record. If you own a gun you are responsible for who fires that gun.

    Secondly let us look at the 'violent criminal'

    Exactly who is that? First time offender? Serial shoplifter? First time ICE user? Schizophrenic off of meds?
