I hope the kiddies realize that any 'impeaching' guarantees the next dem elected will also be impeached. As we seem to be doing it simply to make the left happy, well, the right needs a little happiness now and again.

I wonder when (or if) some people will understand how the Presidential elections work in America. So many people seem to be clueless. Our schools need to teach about this subject because far too many people are completely ignorant about how the President is elected.

 

And the Democrats said obstruction of justice does not warrant removal from office remember. And you do realize the president can pardon people under investigation and even convicted.

 

And while Trump may not be re-elected, he certainly won't be impeached.

Former FBI Director James Comey told the Senate Intelligence Committee he believed President Donald Trump ordered him to drop the probe into former national security advisor Michael Flynn when they spoke in February.

In his prepared testimony, Comey recalled that, at that Oval Office meeting, the president said: "I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go. He is a good guy. I hope you can let this go."

"I took it as a direction," Comey told the Senate hearing Thursday. "I mean, this is a president of the United States with me alone saying, 'I hope this.' I took it as, this is what he wants me to do. I didn't obey that, but that's the way I took it."

 

The Democrats do not believe obstruction rises to the level of an impeachable offense -- and so, even if what you describe is obstruction, the Democrats won't impeach him for it.

Comey was a 'legal officer.' Obstruction includes: influencing, threatening, harming, or impeding a witness, potential witness, juror, or judicial or legal officer

How then does any and every direction given to a "legal officer" not qualify as "influencing"?

 

He's not supposed to involve himself in any investigations and influence how they are handled.

How does he not have the legal authority to direct those below him, and how does that direction differ from "influence"?

You do know that to be impeached you need solid evidence of a crime being committed, right? And you know Trump hasn't committed a crime, right?

 

Oh, I would suggest people know exactly how Presidents are elected, and that is why they are teaching children and others how to eliminate large parts of the country from participating.

There is no better example of this effort than the constant whine about the electoral college process, and no discussion on why it was created exclusively for electing someone to this one office.

 

And, as we all know, Democrats don't consider the crimes of Obstruction or Perjury to rise to the level of an impeachable offense, so...
