I am not prudent to a fault. I support abortion in cases of rape and where the life of the Mother hangs in the balance.

Because I have concern for the woman who is the victim of rape or who might become the victim of a complicated pregnancy.

 

Saying that because a child in womb isn't born, you can kill it and it isn't a form or murder, is like the snake that says in its defense, "hey don't blame me, I only bit her on her ankle. I can't help it if it affects her brain."
As for your notion that banning abortion is just like slavery; Well that's just absurd. All of life and freedom are available to women as they so choose, from dancing naked on tables to serving in our government, passing laws that dictate to the rest of us how to live every aspect of our lives. Talk about slavery.
