Yes, the Muslim Brotherhood is trying to proselytize you. That does not mean they are trying to kill you. Again, the word "jihad" has many connotations. You are just focusing on just one definition of that word wioutou any evidence to support your claim whatsoever.

1. The Muslim Brotherhood is doing a lot more than proselytizing. They are engaging in sedition. An attempt to DESTROY American (and all Western Civilization), and replace it with an Islamic state. As they say >> "...Allah's religion is made victorious over all religions."

2. I never said the MB is trying to kill anyone (nor did I say they don't privately support terrorism)

3. I don't care how many "connotations" Islamapologists can up with to try to whitewash jihad (ie. global warfare against "infidels"), it remains what it has been for 1400 years. Outright warfare against the non-Muslim world to establish a world-wide caliphate of Islam, with every living human under the domination of Islam. 270 million people around the world have been killed by these lunatics, (there's your "evidence"), and this JIHAD continues. Trying to change the language doesn't work when the word is already firmly, centuries-old established.

4. You know what bugs me about you ? You keep showing up in my posts where I take a generally conservative viewpoint, and oppose me with your more liberal side. But I am an Independent, and I have a liberal side too. I engage in some posts (economics especially) against psuedo-Conservative Reaganists who oppose tax hikes on the rich, who oppose spending for social programs, who want to cut Social Security & Medicare, and who favor small govt. And when I go up against these characters, I'm often outnumbered by them 10 to 1, and where the hell are you then ? Again, I'm outnumbered by a bunch of glunks who oppose the extended background checks, who are part of the 10% who oppose them, and who probably are criminals with records themselves (otherwise why should they oppose them). SO where are you then ? No, you never show up in my more liberal posts to support my positions, you only show up to oppose me in these conservative ones.

 

During those times, might made right. Conquering of some land happened almost annually in Europe and Western Asia. I don't like it, but I'm not going to act surprised that people of various religions and ethnicities did it... That's just how the world was.
