I wonder what the GOP thinks about this considering they goaded Assad's regime into a crack down on protests much the same as they goaded the state governors and mayors here to crack down on OWS..

Well, I'm afraid I'm not "GOP," but this thread just seems silly. How exactly are you even accusing them of goading anything? Especially considering they don't hold the presidency.
