Read that list of demands. Does that look like "not knowing what they want"? They want Venezuela and Hugo Chavez. That is what they want.

The progressive agenda, outloud. Disturbing isn't it?

This round of the War has just about run it's course. The rats have been run out of the woodwork and are in the open. 2012 will usher in a better day, hopefully a better 25 years or so.

They think they know what they want. They are very ignorant of the cost it would take to obtain what they want.

Ergo, they don't know what they want.

Yeah except right on the top of the list it says this is not an official list of demands. http://occupywallst.org/forum/proposed-list-of-demands-for-occupy-wall-st-moveme/.

But l'll go through what I agree with. I like the living wage idea, universal health care, free education, infrastructure spending and ecological restoration (though not at the levels the list says, and possibly delayed until the economy gets better). I like equal rights amendments, and the U.N. supervising our elections to protect against voter fraud (the way it does in other countries, and what WE do by watching elections in other countries, but most people probably don't know we help supervise elections, except in Iraq and Afghanistan).

Don't like open borders, nor forgiveness of ALL debt. Maybe forgiveness of something specific like student loans, since these are future workers of America and could end up not being good consumers if they are using all their money to pay down debt. And I don't know why we would outlaw credit reporting agencies, since they do serve a useful purpose.

Sigh... I think this kind of talk may be why the country's political debate is completely stalled. Painting everyone with the same brush. Its much easier to dismiss everything that way isn't it?

I sympathize with alot of sentiment coming from these protesters but definitly dont agree with all those "Demands". (By the way where did that come from? Last I checked this was not a centrally ogranized movement with one set of demands.)

I can't stand that fact that corporations can donate endlessly and anonymosly to political candidates, manipulating the system. I hate the fact that there were unaccountable corporate bailouts. I hate the fact that corporations can manipulate the tax system with loopholes and off-shore accounts.

But instead of discussing these things and finding reasonable, and realistic solutions Miss Jonelyn and others just grab that big ol' brush and paint me as a socialist who wants to never work and live off the governments teet. And thats when the debate stops. In truth im a working american taxpayer that loves this country and wants it to return to prosperity. I've never been on welfare, ive never collected foodstamps but i keep getting painted that way, and I'm tired of it :(

that most of the "Occupy Wall Street" protesters are a bunch of stupid 20 year olds, however, Iceland went broke due to the fraudulent Wall Street charlatans. Did Wall Street reimburse them, or did they just say that you should know better than to trust a charlatan? As I said, mixed. I can't see how anyone can support Wall Street with their insider trading, hedge funds, "after hours trading" and a host of other advantages that renders the average investor as a "sucker". As I have said before, the best thing that could happen to the USA is for "rich" butts like Warren Buffet to invest in companies SANS Wall Street (i.e. form a private company that only requires 0-5 % return).

What point? You have zero points. All you did was create a straw man. It's your own form of relevancy.

    Now I'm done with you.

WTF? We are not some 3rd world (*)(*)(*)(*)ing banana republic and no American in his right mind would ever support UN supervision of our elections! OMG This nation has gone out of it's (*)(*)(*)(*)ing mind.

*THIS* (*)(*)(*)(*).. is the (*)(*)(*)(*) they do in VENEZUELA We don't do this in America plain and simple. You're thinking is literally scary to me, because you are willing to trade our soveriengty away like that.

They want loans and banks and (*)(*)(*)(*) to be non-profit the exact same way that people want Health care to be non-profit. They don't want anyone to make any money on any financial instrument, loan and they want to destroy the stock market. It's obvious what is going on.

You'll have your UHC soon enough, as soon as our medical system collapses thanks to Obamacare.

I just don't understand. I just want to return to the Reagan America.. not transform us into a Social Republic. When I see that list and know that masses of those people support that whackjobbery.. it breaks my heart because that (*)(*)(*)(*) goes against everything I ever learned or experienced as an American.

That's it I made up my mind. 2012 decides it for me. If Obama and Democrats win a majority and the White House again, I'm moving into a shed far away from society and shooting anyone who even tries to come bother me.

lol. So voter fraud could NEVER happen here huh...? The U.N. (which includes us) should police all elections.

Which is why I don't agree with everything they say! Btw, living wage doesn't have to be 20. It just needs to be enough to pay for a small house, food, and insurance (car and health), probably something closer to 15, maybe a little less.

    Why are you so angry?

The point is exactly what I wrote. Political debate in this country has turned into a name-calling, big brush painting, pissing contest. Loud as hell with no results.

(*)(*)(*)(*) the UN I hate them, they are not a government and they are there to regulate 3rd world nations. Not America.

I worked in Fast Food/Foodservice and Hospitality for years. You simply have no idea how low these profit margins are.

A 15 dollar minimum wage won't purchase a small house, food or insurance. A 15 dollar minimum wage will destroy the fast food industry, damage the hospitality industry gravely.. and leave millions of people out of work. You think businesses won't raise prices in response to balance out the massive cost of labor?

You won't be able to get a pizza delivered, because drivers are based on min wage + tips in most places. That bagger that bags your groceries at the store? Gone. You'll be waiting an hour or two for your food at restaurants because waitress staff will be cut down to the bare minimum because people will know she's making 15 an hour and won't tip and the boss can't afford but 2 or 3 waitresses without charging 50 bucks a plate at IHOP.

Then that is a much deeper problem that can't be solved by simply raising MW. Perhaps society needs to be reformed then.

I called you a name because you asked for it. When you do and say stupid things, you will get a negative result. Don't create strawmen just because you lack the intellectual capacity to form a coherent argument.

Now go back to being irrelevant.
