Can you expound on that please?

Why would race and race relations not be a part of civics? I'd say it's one of the most important part of civics just like teaching tolerance (which has nothing to do with grooming children).

Teachers should refuse to teach lies by presenting the lies and then pointing to the truth.

    Time to get a backbone.

The people are moving on with interest in organized religion dropping faster in this country than other western nations. You can probably thank the like of the Southern Baptists and their fellow travelers for that. The more you push, the more folks resist.

All Democrats? Even the ones in uniform defending this country?

What are you doing? What have you contributed?

Ignoring interpretations of the first amendment, I would say that religion with its focus on morality is good for society while racism is bad for society. At least it isn't turned around like the teachers want it to be.

You mean like this wild claim: "Some, me for one, have characterized this newly found ideological purity demanded by the democrats to substitute for the religion they so publicly and vocally protest."

LOL. Context. Democrats seems determined to use woke government as their replacement theocracy. Do you feel like this characterization hits too close to home for you? As you are a democrat, do you find that your reliance on all things government to supply you with the most basic of staples including what you think, do you suppose that the comment was too honest then? You call this a "wild claim" but you demonstrate your devotion to this notion in the posts you make here. That isn't an attack, it's an observation that is historically accurate for you, as a poster. You do defend the faith as it were. You do promote the faith when convenient. But today? no?

I'm not a Democrat or liberal. Stop making up BS about mr.
I don't collect Social Security or use Medicare.
Your comment was hypocritical and dumb.
As I said, your comment was stupid.

You're a rightwing ideologue, so I expect nothing less fro you.

Oh. But you are a always on the side of authoritarian government, but not party affiliated. Got it. Your retirement sources and medical aren't the only services you have identified as important to you. Sorry the comment hurt you so.

An ideologue you say. Does "takes one to know one" explain this comment from you? So, ostensibly, your are incredibly ideological, have no tolerance for any conversation that doesn't otherwise adopt the authoritarianism you crave, but I'm the ideologue, and not just that, a "right wing" one at that. Do you even know what that means? to be "right wing"? I'm likely one of the most libertarian and conservative supporters of libertarianism you might ever meet. does that qualify as "right wing" to you? Perhaps you might want to learn your market first.

You strike me as the quintessential bureaucratic mindset. A liberal you might not be, but an authoritarian for sure. Perhaps the thing that riles you so is that it is so obvious to others where you come from and why you assert the positions you do. And, because, currently, democrats agree with your sort of authoritarianism, isn't that what bothers you most about being labels as a democrat? Because you share their values there, for sure.

Give us all a good laugh and explain your fundamental belief in Mitt Romney....

Uh huh. I'm in favor of school vouchers...
So much for my dependence on government.
    You're the ideologue, not me.
I'm in favor of school vouchers. Not too authoritarian.
    I didn't support anti-abortion Mitt.

While I am a right wing nutjob I didn't write any of what you quoted with my handle on it. I don't know who did or how. But I'm glad it gave you a target.

Like a neutered dog, you don't get it.

Government should stop tilting the table toward rich people so average folks have the means to look after themselves. This isn't an accident...

Apparently, you have no idea how or why this happened.
They're unimportant to me—I don't collect Social Security or use Medicare. I look after myself. Do you look after yourself?
Ah, the lie. I'm for school and medical vouchers. No authoritarianism there.
    Far better than you.
You keep strange company in today's Republican Party.
You strike me as an ideologue who has no understanding of how the economic system works.
Your type hides behind the state that's crushing the average guy.
A self-proclaimed libertarian who presumes to speak for most folks?
Typical libertarian whining that always comes down to crying about having to pay taxes.
    He's anti-abortion and therefore anti-women.

Liberals don't support school and medical vouchers.
Private teachers make both more and less than public school teachers, and average well below the average for public school teachers,
    You're saying Biden is anti-abortion?

Joe Biden quotes: There are a lot but here is one.

He went on to say, “I do not view abortion as a choice and a right. I think it’s always a tragedy, and I think that it should be rare and safe, and I think we should be focusing on how to limit the number of abortions.”

Oh, geez—it's just Joe talking out of the other side of his face for political purposes. He's a kinder, gentler, sane alternative to the Orange Oaf.
