Indeed -- but, fortunately, a liberal will not have the chance to appoint any such justice for at least another 4 years.

This attitude is why we are so divided, both sides are willing to cheat and game the system because "it's my side doing it" and "the other side did it too".
    Congratulations

How is taking note that the Democrats will not have a chance to appoint a justice while Trump is in office an example of "gaming the system"?

I wonder if God will whack any more conservatives that are on the bench.

He doesn't seem to be too irritated with Ginsburg yet. ;)

Because people are calling for extreme partisan appointees

There's no cap on the number of conservatives. If there are four openings before 2020, nominate four conservatives.

The media will cry for "balance". I don't care. There's no requirement for balance.

Of course -- why appoint someone who is unlikely to rule as you'd like?

Indeed. Take the ball and run.
Note how no one from the left argued Scalia needed to be replaced with another Scalia.

    Yes he may.

I lived through the Clarence Thomas Wars, the Sarah Palin Wars, the public destruction of John McCain and Mitt Romney… This was different. This was murder — the first-degree, cold-blooded murder of a man’s reputation, his young family, and his entire future using the Soviet-style revolutionary tactics of vile lies in pursuit of power.John Nolte
