Those who signed their variable rate agreements took responsibility for understanding what they signed. ERCOT didn't hide anything.

Really? Looking forward to you showing that ERCOT passed on the information that the energy would be extremely vulnerable to cold weather and that while they do have a limit on what can be charged, they could ignore that whenever they want.

    Go ahead, post those links.

They hid that they could not provide electricity in cold weather ! Something that every other state subject to the polar vortex can do. They miss represented ther services. Extended cold weather and climate change, is an act of man, not god.No where in the contract does it say that they don’t believe in science and they’re just guessing where and how deep to bury their lines.

Talk about buying a pig in a poke who in their right mind would voluntarily agree to buying an absolutely necessary service from a public utility not knowing how much it might cost. One of the smaller electricity providers in Texas just filed for bankruptcy to protect itself frgom going out of business. Texas is a mess !!!

Geez you don't even know state and federal laws are separate and enforced separately and you claim I am out of my league?

It's not about federal aid this is about customers who choose to have cheaper average monthly billings by choosing to purchase at wholesale spotmarket price. It has nothing to do with federal regulations the feds do not regulate the end user price in the state. And prove that in the contract it says they must supply power even when the power grid shuts down.

So it was humans burning fossil fuels in our automobiles that caused the end (and beginning) of the past ice ages?

No, it was humans burning fossil fuels that increased the rate of the most recent warming trends, faster then they have ever occurred before. If we were rodents or even bacterial, we could adapt more quickly. Now, we have to replace our homes and all move from the equatorial region into the temperate zone. Migration is exacerbated by climate change rate. Let me know if I’m going too fast. It’s a lot to take in.
