It is hard to believe that when your governor states that you need to chant to invisible beings in the sky to prevent gun violence, it would continue.

I do find is absolutely amazing that sans a single fact, the knee jerk reaction is to blame political affiliation, namely in a wholly partisan manner.

Without any facts. I mean, should we not wait until there is at least the slightest indication of whom these people are?

 

Looks like 2 shooters exchanged fire. One shooter was captured, the other escaped.

Only Victims so far were 3 bystanders wounded and another 1 suffered a heart attack.

So much for the myth of safety in "gun zones".

Texans do what they want. I personally know people that have ccw permits and routinely brought concealed guns on campuses.

If one were a conspiracy theorist one would question all these shooters popping up out of nowhere now that the same dudes who brought us Fast and the Furious want to push a gun control agenda on us. Too bad Operation Northwoods was a myth...it was, right?

And what is even stranger, is that the posters here who are bringing in "political affiliations" are automatically assuming that it has to be "liberal students," when, obviously, gun owners (and in Texas) have a much greater chance to fit the profile of Conservative than Liberals!

But what is interesting is that we can now observe very clearly the encounter between "two people with guns" having an argument. . . Did those guns "help" them in resolving the argument with no one getting hurt?

NOPE! In fact, not only did one of the shooter get hurt. . .it appears that (as I assumed many time would happen) the fact that there were TWO shooters trying to hit each others got other people caught in the cross fire. . .and therefore there were even MORE victims!

 

This incident will be soon forgotten but I'd be willing to bet that the shooters have a criminal record and were not legal firearms owners.

Most of the gangbangers who are shooting up our streets are not law abiding citizens in any sense of the word.

Probably some hell bent conservatives who've gone off the deep end over the possibility of losing their precious handguns and now want to attempt to trigger a revolution over it.

More likely it is a couple of sons of Obama finalizing an illegal drug deal.

 

I guess only time will tell!

However, If I had to assume what the setting was, I would say it was just two regular students, both with a permit to carry (although that was a "gun free zone,") who has an argument. Nothing more, nothing less. . .but as usual where guns are involved, people got really hurt, when, if there had NOT been guns involved, they would have ended up with maybe a black eye and a bloody nose!

But it's funny how you feel the need to immediately assume that those were "illegal guns" and "gangbangers!"

I bet that the only reason those guns were "illegals" was because of the "gun free zone" stipulations!
