We all interact with the police from time to time. We may need help with and emergency. We may exceed the speed limit or whatever, We are ALL affected by their attitudes toward the public and toward the use of lethal force. We've seen the cases where the person calling for help was shot dead by the police.

Plus, having a significant segment of our population seeing police as a significant and very real threat to life rather than officers who "protect and serve" is a huge impact on everyone.

I feel for the job of policing. We do not pay them enough or provide adequate training. Plus, we allow civilian *******s to wander our streets everywhere with all manner of firearms.

 

I think the war on drug has not helped, it makes cops go on fishing expeditions, and causes young people not to trust cops
