Good. And not a damn thing Obama can do about it either without bringing the supreme court into it. And from the interview I saw the other night on TV with one of the supreme court justices they don't want to touch this with a 10 foot pole! Hopefully other states will follow suit like NY and more when Trump get's elected president.

My hospital staff is a bit sick and tired of the abuse from these illegals that cant speak a word of English but somehow all know how to ask for WIC and Medicaid. This abuse was created thanks to all the bleeding heart liberals and now they flock here in droves and even on airplanes.

Time to end birthright citizenship for children born to illegal immigrants. I can guarantee you most of this country's illegal immigration problem would end overnight.

my mom was a legal immigrant from Canada..... I was born in America, while she was still a Canadian (she's a citizen since 84). I tell her my brother and I are anchor babies before that was term.

They're not minorities and they hardly pay taxes. You liberals keep telling us how poor they are. How can they pay taxes that middle class America pays and be poor at the same time? Most of the illegal immigrant's that drop anchor babies here are unemployed and have no intentions on working. How do I know this? Every time I read their social notes in their medical chart.

It is in fact a violation of the US Constitution.

The argument is clear and established: The USA allows for citizenship through jus sanguinis and jus soli by the Constitution and established legal precedent.

 

The 14th is so grey it can be interpreted both ways. It needs to be clarified and updated in plain English.

They are not. Birthright citizenship was never meant to be for the purpose of entering a nation illegally then over populating it.

Sorry rich but this is long settled law. Wong Kim ark established the precedent. And plyler v doe clarified the meaning of subject to the jurisdiction.

 

I can pass a citizenship test.... I'm not worried.

 

I myself question whether or not baby's born from non-citizens becoming citizens is best for the country, but until the law gets changed, its the law.
