The distorted reality of the Law Enforcement narrative

No, I can't. And I can't tell you why they beat him to death.
I would like to know more about the 5 cops' backgrounds. Prior to their hiring -- What were their backgrounds? How did they do on any police tests? How did they do on any police interviews? What were their prior jobs? Who made the decision to hire each one of them? What were their records after they became a cop? I want the system held accountable right along with the 5 cops, because someone made a bad decision to hire people who were clearly not suited to police work. I would like a full investigation before throwing out the baby with the bath water. Most cops are well suited for their line of work, they act as professionals, and would never think of doing what these 5 cops did.

 

Was this before or after he ran away from them?

 

If we had a decent media in this country we would soon know the answers to these questions. But the lazy media wants to just show the video over and over and then interview the protestors with the "reform the cops" or "defund the police" signs. I am looking for a good investigative journalist who can give the truth to all sides. We need answers to why cops would beat a man to death.

Gee, I said he died in the hospital and never mentioned the scene as the place of his demise. Two days later, three days later, it didn't matter to Tyre. I guess some of us use general terms and some of us dance on the head of a pin. When I tell my fishing buddy it's 11:30 and time to head home he'll reply, "It's 11:28!" I believe some cops are racist, both black cops and white cops - just like some in the rest of the population

Before Floyd, we had good cops and a few bad cops. Now cops have been defunded, degraded, demeaned, and so on. Why would anyone want to go through this? Pay is less than 80 thousand a year, the citizens hate you, management doesn't have your back, and if you make a mistake you could be the next Derek Chauvin. So, the good cops have left; retired quit, whatever. We won't get them back for any amount of money. Now we'll either have no cops or thugs masquerading as police. And we can "reform" to our heart's content, but it's too late. That train has left the station

your stats are irrelevant. Just means we have more crime and so more police confrontations with violent people.... blacks kill around 5-7k of other blacks a year. How does this compare to those Countries? this is a much bigger problem than cop shootings, by far

 

it's culture, not economy. Many poor people don't kill and act violent and better themselves. It's 100% parenting... being poor is no motha f excuse to be a violent thug

Try being a cop in memphis, chicago, st louis, oakland etc... Always being afraid of being killed by a thug, having to deal with unruly thugs disobeying, spitting at you and assaulting you. Did you know there are like over 20k assaults against cops a year? After years dealing with these people, you may even once in while kick the sht out of one of them on a bad day

Then try policing nice neighborhoods in rich suburbs, walk in the park... you may just occasionally catch someone doing weed at a party

reality is reality, these inner cities are full of violence and murder, approx. 7k blacks are killed by blacks a year.... it amazes me that we only have so few cop shootings.... given we have millions of arrests and over 20k assaults vs cops. Cops are pretty darn good but not perfect... They are the people who go face danger when you call them during a home invasion..bad people are everywhere.

Would it be correct to say that your response could be summed up as stating that the difference between crime rates among blacks as opposed to the crime rates among whites are because of the difference in their cultures? I'm not trying to put words in your mouth. I'm just trying to clarify your response.

Off course my stats are irrelevant to you because you don’t want to talk about in USA police kill 4x more then Canada, 15x more then Netherlands, 30x more then Japan. yes, that is wrong too, but we expect better from cops, citizens should not have to fear a cop will abuse them or use excessive force or kill them - cops are supposed to be the good guys

 

The whole "defunding" is a bit of a myth in itself, because practically all cities have increased funding, not decreased it.

 

Everyone should start off by respecting a cop when they are stopped. Then cooperate with the cop. It's OK to video your encounter and if you have a complaint against the cop take it to his chief or a lawyer. Do not fight the cop! Do not disrespect the cop! Do not run from the cop! Those actions could result in additional charges, or you being harmed, or you losing your life. Don't be stupid.
