Oh give me a break!!!!!!! You don't think that judge in New York City who presided over the Trump trial, who was mugging for the camera during his few hours of fame, was not biased? Now that is just funny. A political cartoon put a kangaroo on the front of the bench, and that was exactly what it was. That judge should be impeached and disbarred. He is an embarrassment to the bench. Merrick Garland is the worst U.S. Attorney General in history, beating out Janet Reno, who covered for Clinton's sex crimes and Eric Holder. He has weaponized the Justice Department for the Democrat Party. He also an embarrassment to his profession.
I think republicans want to believe Trump is less of a criminal than he is because he helps their agenda. Fox does its job well. To be fair I'm not a lawyer and I didn't do a really deep dive into the particulars of the case, but I do know it's fraud to give different valuations depending upon whether a property is collateral for a loan or being used to calculate tax liability.
Nobody lost any money. No banks lost any money and wanted to do more business with the Trump organization. The size of the judgement was ridiculous and chilling. I don't care for Trump, but that decision was WAY out of line. The idea was to bankrupt a presidential candidate they did not like. You had best wake up and figure out that they can use this to ruin anyone. All of they have to do is accuse you, and the legal fees can clean you out.
A chilling effect on loan fraud sounds like a good idea. People who do not commit fraud should rest assured. Whether the amount was appropriate or not - that would require more details into the case than I am likely willing to get into. I don't see why it should require anybody lost money. If I secure a loan by lying, so that a lender takes on a greater risk than they know, whether I am guilty of fraud wouldn't be dependent upon whether I did manage to repay the loan, the loan was given based upon false information. And/or tax fraud of course. We should probably agree to disagree at this point. The topic of the thread isn't Trump's fraud.
It is that, but also with cargo pockets, large reinforced belt loops to accomodate tactical load bearing harnesses and/or plate carriers, and other features (depending on brand) for integration into various military combat uniforms. Not that they're an acceptable addition to any military's uniform that I know of (maybe Scotland?)... but there are private military contractors that (claim to) use them in combat. But I think they're mostly for folks like me who find the durability and utility of clothing designed for combat to be also useful in just everyday life, and also find camo to be an alluring fashion alternative

I knew a bloke who kindly stopped at the side of the road to help what he thought was an injured possum - thing took one look at his hairy legs obviously though “Gee the trees are now coming to me!” And ran straight up his leg into his pants. Now this was a very religious guy but he had those pants down in record time!
Nah. I don't have anyone in particular in mind. I'm more concerned with what can be done to a society when it's invested in oppression hierarchies. Tho I'm a bit less concerned now, seeing that 100% of poll responders (thus far) don't believe that men can pretend to be women enough that a man claiming to be a woman would break the woman potus barrier. It still appears to just be pretend, at the end of the day. Hopefully we stop letting men pretending to be women beat women in women's sports.
That last point is augmented merely by the fact we don't see all that many women pretending to be men taking away medals from men in men's sports..

The amount of persecution Trump faces, phoney claims of Russian conspiracy then the Ukraine crap any time he utters a word that people latch onto and freak out about.
