Genie: "Opion8d, you have one wish left."
Opion8d: "Okay, make a scandal so big John Bolton comes out looking like a hero."
Genie: "Man, you are one sick sombich, but okay."

And so it goes. Bolton recently said, 'Trump protects his business interests not the country. This is especially true with TURKEY.' Bolton said "I will be heard" on Trump's unwise dismissal of Bolton. Because, here comes a guy almost as vindictive and vengeful as Trump. Nobody ever told Trump the old adage, "Never kick a skunk."

"Thanks, Genie." First, a little background here. Gone unreported is that there are several House committees investigating multiple potentially illegal or unConstitutional actives involving Trump. It looks like an investigation of Trump's dealings with Turkey could have legs. It has all the makings of a series, perhaps "Trump and the Dictators." Bolton could narrate.

There is bipartisan agreement that what Trump did to the Kurds to favor Turkey was an act of cowardice. Throw another "c" word in there, "corruption" and we have an entirely new look into another Trump scandal. So what will the yada, yada, yada be from the Party of Trump? Well, there's always the old reliable, "Dems are trying to overturn the will of the people (aka 2016).
    1. He didn't do it!
    2. It's a witch hunt!
    3. Maybe he did it but it's not illegal.
    4. Dems are shredding the Constitution.
    5. Etc.

Then again they could remain mute. Republicans in the Senate are still pretty steamed about Trump's abandonment of the Kurds.

Doubtful that the GOP will sacrifice the WH for over 4 years, over the Kurds...

That's the decision in balance. How large does a scandal have to become to turn Americans and Republicans? Perhaps today will provide an answer? IMO this is not the only time Trump has tried to bribe another nation.

That’s the problem with having a President with exposure to large international holdings - they are open to blackmail ... you will abandon the Kurds or we will ruin your Trump Towers property in Istanbul...

Because he is reverting true to form

You only have to look at the pay for play that happened with Pam Bondi and the Trump university to see he has been bribing officials for years

The excuses keep coming. For example:

"It would be stupid of them to do this, therefore they didn't do it.

I predict that, in the end, they will all settle for one single response: "Yeah... he did it. So what! Get over it!" The Mulvaney Defense.

For the left, evidence is not needed, just opinion.

Its always funny to watch people ally themselves with people they hate in order to "get" someone they mutually hate even more.

It always works out so well in the end...

Makes one wonder how corrupt Giuliani was vis-a-vis Trump, throughout his career. There was a big deal about Trump greasing the hands of Irish officials in getting his golf course built in Ireland. The same golf course where Pence stayed.
