I'll be honest - I'm on the fence. I don't think everyone who believes they are in the wrong body really are. And for that matter, I'm not sure any are. Right now there is a big discussion about Transgender rights and legislation. BUT, if there is one person - one documented case - of Gender Identity 'disorder' that is very convincing that some people are legitimately born in the wrong body, it's this girl, named Jazz.

Before you say a word, just watch this short interview/documentary about her. Jazz has basically identified and acted like a girl since she was a baby. I just don't think she's making it up. And she looks like a beautiful young girl without an ounce of surgery or hormones.

Now, I don't think a big dude with a beard who identifies himself as a woman should have the right to use a woman's bathroom. But I just don't feel a person like Jazz belongs in a mens bathroom. It just doesn't fit.

I'm at work so I couldn't watch all of it, but I watched to 4:04. This is the thing, she looks like a girl and acts like a girl and even has developing bewbs. If I was standing near the women's room waiting on my fiance and Jazz walked in, I wouldn't think twice about it. Unless she walked around telling everyone she had a wiener, nobody would know. My beef (no pun intended) is with guys that look like guys and think they're girls, and use the girls bathroom.

    Example:

What about girls who look like guys naturally and still want to use the womens washroom? Is someone going to stand at the door to make sure they look 'womenly' enough to use the womens washroom?

Have they ever? I don't recall this ever being an issue until the lgbt started making a big deal out of everything. Now progressives want to push for co-gender bathrooms so that those who would like to be girls can use the girls room. That's when this became an issue. Once again, that term "if it's not broke, don't fix it" comes into play. Now it's breaking.

Yeah, this is where I'm at too. Even if a Sylvester Stallone put on a dress and was truly convinced he was a woman on the inside, he will never have the femininity and grace of a person like Jazz. You ask any woman who would they feel more comfortable using a bathroom with A, or B - you know damn well who'd they choose

While I agree with you to an extent, we need to offer a logical argument as to why a person like Jazz needs to use the men's room.

Why does society need to give into the delusions of crazy people? If this kid ran around barking like a dog his parents would seek professional help. Why is it when the kid claims to be a different sex than they really are do people encourage the behavior?

But if they want to (*)(*)(*)(*) their kid up more power to them. I just hope they don't do anything permanent before he turns 18. Well I guess it's to late for that.

Normally I would say you're correct, but not in the case of Jazz. The footage of her as a baby is especially convincing - how in the world will a one-yr old choose to act and behave like a girl at that age ? They couldn't. In cases like Jazz', I think Gender Dis-morphia is a legit thing.

1 year old babies act like one year old babies. I'm sure if the boy was trans species he'd had been barking and scratching for flees at an early age. There are a lot of mental disorders should society be forced to adapt to all of them. We're not allowed to discuss the clearly mental problems the child has; we're just supposed to jump on board the train to crazy town.

Of course it's natural, but then again, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and a whole host of mental and physical disorders are also natural. Natural doesn't mean that it's good.

I'm being serious here, not sarcastic, but there was a time when people like this would be in the circus; remember the bearded lady? Of all the people currently on the planet is it possible that one person got things wrong on so many levels at birth? Maybe. But there is no way, and I mean absolutely no way, that this is happening in the numbers the left wants us to believe. This is not normal and no one can say it is, that makes it abnormal. And why can't trannys dress like men? Plenty of women already do, both super models and bull dykes. If regular biologically natural women feel comfortable in men's clothing then why can a man who thinks he's a girl feel natural in men's clothing?

Before you conclude this kid's girlish demeanor is natural, you need to find out something about the parents.

Jazz doesn't need to use the men's room and doesn't want to either. In any case, he'll be using a stall and they're identical as the ones in the Lady's room.

So a big dude with a beard can't be a woman? So it is in fact about how people look on the outside? I'm so confused...

I really do mean I'm confused. What are you allowed to call yourself and what are you not?

Now there is some white lady from the NAACP claiming she is black and I have seen a few saying that since she is doing a good thing we should let her believe what's in her head.

It's starting to get a tad silly, don't ya think?

Here's the question I feel is more significant than all the debate about transgender people:

What should be the legal stance for intersex people?

If nobody cared, we wouldn't be talking about it. LGBT people have been making a big deal of it for a long time, but it's only now that those who aren't in that mix actually care and support them, which is why it's getting such a push.

There's a line between reality and fantasy, but when people choose to blur those lines such that they'll accept people's fantasies, even encourage them, and bring them over the line into the reality side, this is what you get. Now I have no idea how the parents dealt with Jazz as a small child, whether they just decided to let Jazz live in fantasy land unabated or not, but the reality is, dresses or not, Jazz is a male who's playing the role of the female. Personally, I don't care what gender he chooses to identify as, but society shouldn't be conherced into accepting Jazz's disorder/condition as normal. It isn't. He's living a fantasy.

No. I couldn't tell you exactly when it started to get silly, but it wasn't a day later than the removal of homosexuality as a mental illness from the DSM in the early 70s.

    Legit, maybe.

    Natural? No.

But this only leads to 'when can you decide?' Can you be confused and be a girl six months then a boy?

Get rid of gender restrooms for all I care. I've got nothing to hide, and it won't make me uncomfortable. Hell I (*)(*)(*)(*) off my back deck at least once a day. If you don't like it, don't look.

I can see the lawsuits from here though.

The first time I came across a transgendered person, the most notable thing was the obvious attempt to not be a man. This is what I see here, as well. The name is obviously not a boy's name, and probably took a judge to change it from John to Jazz. Yet names are not inherently gender specific. Guys are not named John or George because of some innate drive to respond to John or George or Bob or Sam. The same is true of hair length or style. You know that this kid gets taken to a toyz r us and immediately runs to the pink section of the store where everything is frilly and pink and cuddly and heart shaped.

One look at this kid's room, and you just know there isn't anything that could be seen as gender neutral. If it doesn't scream "GIRL!!!" it gets thrown out.

In other words, this kid probably makes quite a few feminist brains explode. Here is a kid that is basically saying that having a girl brain means you wear pink dresses and play with barbie dolls. :eyepopping:

The other thing that really leaps out is that "she" knows all the slogans, and seems to end up in front of the camera saying them an awful lot. One video was taken at 6 years old where she is explaining "If somebody asks me why I used to be a boy, and now I'm a girl, I would say that I have a girl brain and a boy body". This is not the kind of thing your typical six year old says, or even contemplates. Ask a child of that age to draw a picture of her family or herself, and you will get a very real idea of their perspective. Stick figures are often drawn because the body just isn't something that kids think about. There will be big faces, stick bodies, and big smiles. Jazz, on the other hand, would be drawing a picture of a pink brain with tits.

I'm much more inclined to think that some weird things are going on with mom or dad, because if this frankensteinian gender stuff is true, then girls really are genetically predisposed to wear pink dresses and play with other little girls and have pig tails.

Is this what you guys are saying?

I wouldn't expect her too. In fact, if she walked into the men's room, I'd politely say, aren't you're in the wrong bathroom dear?

I agree Jazz has a mental disorder, but I couldn't see someone like that in the guys bathroom. It's not the identity thing, but more along the lines of "it looks like a girl, boobs and all." I'd mistake him for a chick.

I call bs. I'll bet any amount of money the parents pushed this. What leads me to say this?

First of all they claim their twin boys wanted to paint their toenails growing up. And then they claim that a TWO YEAR OLD asked them when is the fairy going to come and change his genitalia.

How many two year olds do you know that talk about their genitalia or wanting it changed? For (*)(*)(*)(*)s sake, how many two year olds know what genitalia are, what they're used for or that the other sex has something different than what they have?

Id bet the house this poor kid was pushed into this by his parents.

Someone tell me how a two year old knew that girls don't have a penis.

I'm sure when he pulls his dick out from under his skirt at the urinal and stands there peeing against the porcelain you'd figure it out.
