    DONALD TRUMP

"Every single Democrat in the U.S. Senate has signed up for the open borders, and it's a bill, it's called the ‘open borders bill.’"

In 2018 democrats threatened to shut down the government over DACA and now that they get something on DACA they still refuse to negotiate.

If Trump had been more honest about the wall, we wouldn't have this mess.

More honest? Really? He said what he wanted, he compromised to give the Border Patrol and Homeland Security what they wanted. The hysterical left are ignoring that and still whining about a concrete wall from border to border. What have democrats compromised?

Yeah.. He's lied about the numbers.. He's lied about the drugs.. How do you address a problem if you lie about it?

CLAIM: The Southern border is a pipeline for vast quantities of illegal drugs, including methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine and fentanyl. Every week 300 of our citizens are killed by heroin alone, 90 percent of which floods across from our Southern border.

FACTS:Trump’s claim that a wall would stop the flow of illegal drugs is discounted by most experts. And most illegal drugs — including the opioids that the Centers for Disease Control says kill 130 people in the U.S. each day — do go through ports of entry, as Trump has claimed in the past and which would not be affected by a wall.

A DEA report in 2018 said: "Majority of the flow is through … legal ports of entry." The U.S. Customs and Border Protection told NBC News reporter Jacob Soboroff that, “Drug smugglers feel there are opportunities to mix in” at ports of entry. The vast majority of hard narcotics including fentanyl comes into this country through ports of entry or in the mail from China, Soboroff reported.

CLAIM: Senate Democrats, including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York, have voted for border barriers in the past.

FACTS: Schumer and 25 other Senate Democrats did vote for the Secure Fence Act of 2006, which authorized building a fence along about 700 miles of the border between the United States and Mexico. Trump characterized the fencing as "such a little wall, it was such a nothing wall," and during his campaign promised a concrete wall. He has since called it a fence and dismissed comments that he had abandoned a wall.

And you attribute that to whoever is in the White House and not maybe possibly the 19 years of experience?

LOL, if a democrat does the same then they are just 'evolving'. You do realize that part of the funding request that Trump is asking for includes upgrading the ports too, don't you?

CLAIM: "The wall will also be paid for, indirectly by the great new trade deal we have made with Mexico."

FACTS: The revised North American Free Trade Agreement has not been approved by Congress, and would not take effect until 2020 at the earliest. There are no funds earmarked for the border wall, and any revenue raised by tariffs would have to be appropriated by Congress, NBC noted. And Trump campaigned on the promise that Mexico would pay for the wall.

Yet the libs claim the same thing about the Mueller investigation being paid for by the taxpayers but getting money on the back end with convictions. Liberal Logic 101.

Well Obama must be the biggest idiot in the world, he's the one that said he didn't have a magic wan and manufacturing would never come back, he's the one that said 3% GDP wasn't possible anymore...LOL but its his economy.

Wouldn't it be great if we could vet all immigrants since your discussing positive vetting.

Well, if there was a stated crime no but the Mueller investigation had no stated crime to prosecute anyone.

    Your "link" is dead.

LOL! The "retractions came after the "scientists" were exposed as liars. Read again:

"Can’t take criticism? Just make up your own reviews! It may sound far-fetched, but we’ve now counted more than 270 retractions, more than half of them this year, which occurred because authors or editors compromised the peer-review process in some way—most egregiously, some authors faked email addresses for peer reviewers and gave their own papers a green light."

    MAGA!

It is laughable, really, that the Obama supporters want to give Obama credit for Trump's economy when even Obama himself admitted he couldn't accomplish what Trump is now accomplishing.

You aren't reading any of the posts; you're only responding with this unsupported and illogical bilge.

The economy had a quarter of 4% GDP growth under Bonespurs. A quarter, not a year. Meanwhile, orange clowns continue to lie about GDP growth under Obama. Here are some facts, not conjecture or baseless claims--feel free not to read that, too:

    http://www.latimes.com/opinion/la-o...go-with-today-s-gdp-1532702584-htmlstory.html

"But here are a few other GDP numbers worth remembering: 4.6%, 4.9% and 5.1%. Those were the growth rates notched during President Obama’s tenure (in late 2011, the third quarter of 2014 and the second quarter of 2014, respectively). And no one’s celebrating how great the economy was in the Obama years."

Do I give Obama "credit" for that? No. I don't think that a President deserves credit for the performance of an economy. Can a President wreck or blunt economic growth through ill-advised action? Yes--take a look at the impact that Trump's trade wars are having in the world and at home, and take a look at what the Trump shutdown is doing at home.

That is false. No one is suggesting we deport legal immigrants. I live in southern CA and the places with the highest number of illegal immigrants look the most like the place they fled. Its not a question of whether or not they are a burden; its a matter of where the tipping point is. I am not a fan of Trump, but I hope he makes progress securing our border.
