some people seem to think the idea if greenhouse gasses originated recently as a chinese hoax (donald trump) , or originated from academic researchers looking for government funding. Also, it is interesting to explicitly recognize the fact that not only have the nature of greenhouse gasses has been long recognized, but the potential for these gasses to produce climate change has similarly been long recognized.... and further that a relatively accurate climate model was created based upon the very crude information available more often than 100 years ago.
I don't buy claims as to what Donald Trump thinks. If I were to, I'd have to believe he is a paranoid skitzophrenic. The green house effect is why we don't freeze to death at night.
