    Actually the Book of Esther is the origin of Purim and yes it has a horrible ending with lots of killing of people by the Jews. But well, what can you do. You understand that Jews don't include the Book of Maccabees in the Bible in part because of who the Maccabees became in the years following their war for their Religion, BTW to think of who the modern Maccabees are think Right Wing Christians in the US.

    The nazi holocaust isn't the only genocide that has happened in the past.
