Do the so-called "progressives" (see also: Communists, Socialists, Statists, Collectivists, etc. they are all the same) really think that by doing away with Conservatives and Conservatism it would usher in prosperity and security to America? I don't think so.
The Left is delusional if they think they will be the only party in America. It appears that they think their way forward is the best but that is highly debatable.
I haven't heard anyone on the "Left" express any such thought. But it IS apparent that all of the political parties do change over time. I think the question is: What will become of the Left and the Right? I can see that is something you are making up. A large number of people expect the political fights to continue; but even people on the far-left realize that they will always meet with opposition.
If someone's opinion is "Making it up", then I am guilty. It's apparent that the left has NO desire to meet with the opposition. The violence from the left at trump rallies is proof of a grass roots level of hatred.
Well, we all have opinions and should give them weight accordingly. They don't have to be embraced as 'fact'... that's for certain. That is ludicrous. Even so, it doesn't mean that they aren't willing or unable to wage political battles. That's obvious. Nonsense. Trump casually incites violence via his rhetoric (not only at his own rallies, but across the nation). He IS part of the problem. By the same token, I'm not excusing ANYONE for perpetrating violent acts. America doesn't need that one single iota.
We'll see if Trump is the reason for violence at his rallies. I don't believe that at all. I think people are concerned that he'll take way their free stuff and they'll actually have to work for a living.
We will see evidence of it. But some people know intuitively he's connected to many problems we are seeing. Trump is among other things, promoting racist sentiment amongst the electorate. That's a deal-breaker for me. And something even bigger to those who are most often the targets of bigotry and racism. Free stuff? What free stuff are you talking about?!
Both parties (Republican and Democrat) have remade themselves in the past. The Republican party remade itself back in 1968 and again in 1980 and what we are seeing today the Republican party is remaking itself again. The neo-con RINOS aka Republican establishment are being sent packing. The Democrat party remade itself back in 1972 when the radical left aka "New Left" hijacked the party and have been in control for 44 years now. The Democrat's establishment today are the old "New Left" a bunch of burnout hippies from the 60's. (Hillary, Bernie, Feinstein, Pelosi, etc.) The Democrat party needs to remake itself and get out of the counterculture 60's. While the Republicans move into the 21st Century, the Democrats (liberals/progressives) still think it's the 1960's. Obama's Attorney General Lynch speaking for the PC Obama administration that we must fight terrorism with "love and passion." Time for the PC Democrats to clean house and remake themselves.
