The democrats ain't birthin no babies. Libs are dying off because they don't want children. They use birth control so they don't get pregnant and when the pill fails they get an abortion. The survivors of that engage in risky sexual behavior that encourages the spread of lethal STD's. To top it off they do drugs and drink like fish, all of which combine to kill off the current generation. Not to mention most lib women are too busy screaming "I'm a woman not a womb"! The result is a dwindling liberal population without a replacement generation being born. Whites sure as hell aren't. Hispanics are, blacks are. White libs maybe. True, but birth rates are still much higher in Democratic demographics: The right drinks a lot too. Nothing wrong with that. Rates of heavy drinking are highest among whites, and therefore likely highest among Republicans: 40% of Democrats are non-whites. Liberals are not comprised solely of white hipster metrosexuals. An increasing plurality are black, Hispanic or Asian. These races have higher birth rates than whites. Therefore, I question whether Democrats are dying out relative to Republicans. Closer to the mark. People are rebelling against the government policy which has made it illegal for them to compete.
That first graph shows white birth rates increased between 1986 and 2007. Since we are a larger portion of the population....The decrease in white births was from the liberal sector. I bet you money if you broke it down by political philosophy the conservatives outpaced liberals in all races. But you didn't do that. you tried to obfuscate the point by posting non sequitur stats.
A birthrate of 2 replaces the two parents. But only if all babies live. We need data showing the survival rate of the child plus Democrats enjoy telling us women die in child birth, factor that in as well. I am thinking that perhaps it takes more like 2.10-2.20 to break even.
Yes, but all that matters here is the relative ratios of demographics. If white are giving birth at lower rates than Hispanics+blacks, then it would seem to follow that Republicans will lose out in the long term. ie: we might all be failing to replace ourselves, but we're winning the race to the bottom!
Then there's fertility to factor in. Males with low fertility rates cannot naturally reproduce and the same is true for a woman. And you don't really get to know these problems until AFTER you tried to impregnate somebody.
