The most common political error I've heard is people
claiming everything is the same as it was x number
of years ago, where x is often 80.

A very knowledgeable person explained to me that she
has always been wary of Russia, ever since her aunt
told her a number of tales of how the Russians interrupted
lessons at her school to command changes, such as to
teach Russian, instead of something else.

I asked her when that was, and that was during WW2.

The desires of government have been the same forever: to protect the people you exploit from being exploited by someone else, thus diluting your power over them.

The most common error other than just being way
out of date, is believing whatever the media is
    pumping out at that moment.

When the US goes to war it starts with a media barrage.

Who does the left favor, the rich or the poor?
    The poor.
Who owns the media the rich or the poor?
    The rich - Blackrock ultimately.

Who is more likely to believe the media?
    Democrats.

    That's the problem.
Democrats are a confused alternative Right.

    I vote No
The most common political error is becoming a partisan and leaving your skepticism behind comrade.

Another common source of error is the US is run by money,
    (Gilens and Page).
And of course by the Lobbyists (what other function could the
4,560 million dollars they spend possibly have?), so count
the money the Lobbyists spend and you know who runs
    Congress.

    And lies in general.
Like how much does our country spend on defense?
Actually very little, but we do love our aircraft carriers.
They take planes away from the US where they might have
some value in defense, to somewhere else where they can
    cause trouble.

On 9/11 we had no defensive response for an hour because
the Department of Defense had no direct responsibility for
defense, until the Department of Homeland Security was formed
and integrated into the Department of Offense.

But we keep voting huge amounts of money for weapons
and personnel claiming it will somehow protect us.

And our language is full of lies.
I keep hearing people tell me how much our nation spends
helping other countries. Name a country we help or helped.
The person said 'Vietnam'. So my comment was 'we killed
3 million Vietnamese and spread Agent Orange, dioxin
    around the country.

Would we call that help if someone did that to us?

The way Biden copes with his mistakes is to double down on them
and do more of what is wrong.

The open border is wrong, so he invites in everyone who will come
and offers them incentives making the problem worse.
Giving 2,000 pound hospital and apartment building flattening bombs
to Israel is genocide, so he keeps doing it.

My grandparents railed on and on about how cut-throat the Japanese were. Why? Because they had vivid memories from the early 1970s.
(Japan used to sell the cheapest quality products and used dirty tactics to try to drive American competitors out of business, similar to China in the late 1990s to early 2000s)

When I informed them that Japan produces very top quality products and that when I went to the store, the most expensive knives were from Japan, even more expensive than the knives made in Germany, they could barely believe it.

Their understanding of the world was 35 or 40 years out of date. A lot had changed during that time.
