A recent article in the New York Times talks about how a Miami Heat basketball player and his wife 15 years ago choose to have an abortion just because they were not ready. The NYTimes glamorized abortion as a heartwarming experience. Very heart warming for the baby that had to give its life for parents to have their own.

I find this to be very sad and upsetting. This is showing that if you have an abortion maybe your life will end up like a NBA basketball star. This type of reporting should not take place.

This article showes us that the abortion debate is held on dishonest terms and showed us how callous the nation’s liberal “elite” is toward the death of the unborn.

I couldn't find anything where NYT "believes" abortion should be romantic or endorses abortion. What it did mention was how a couple bonded through their unplanned pregnancy which eventually lead to an abortion. Beyond me how anyone can think this endorses abortion or displays the abortion debate dishonestly.

But honestly, this is just another partisan garbage piece which pits liberals against conservatives.

Here is the actual article if anyone wants to read it in context and not just snippets of it.

What I see here is a woman openly admitting that she had an abortion because she was not ready to be a mother with her partner and that he supported her through what sounds like was a difficult choice for her. There is nothing wrong with women openly speaking about this choice, people just want to sweep it under the rug though and not listen. They'd rather cover their ears and cry murderer. It is a common, normal medical procedure that at least half of all women will experience once in their lives. Women should be able to openly talk about this without feeling ashamed.
