I wont panic over the next milestone, honestly I'm bored with it and moving on gradually to normal behavior. I've had enough.

I was asked a pathetically desperate dodge of question: “Got any "hard numbers" to establish that anything the government did prevented any infections?”, I asked which infection you were referring to that is on this scale?

I asked at what number should the issue be taken seriously, so rather than give hard numbers or even soft numbers in regards to the question you deflect...

You can't come up with such a number yourself? I mean it seems to be of ultimate concern for you. What number would justify the Left deliberately setting off a panic inside this nation to crash the national economy for political reasons? Go ahead; dazzle us with your Hard Number. We are all agog.

I have already determined that I do not want to risk the long term health effects that this virus is showing, my number is 1 — myself and my family. We have the luxury of working from home and enough space we are not having issues others are. I am asking what your number is.

If people want to go catch it, fine — let them.
If people want to stay at home also, fine — let them.

I am not calling for the mandatory closure or opening.

Can’t answer the question, can you?

Apparently the entire point of this O.P. went -- zip! -- right over your head. If you have a Hard Number that pleases you then by all means clutch it to your chest and be happy. The rest of the nation is going to try picking up the pieces of the economy deliberately shattered by the panic politics of the Left and glue them back together. Maybe next time they will stop and THINK before giving into panic deliberately started and then driven by the leftist-allied Mainstream Media and the DNC. But time will tell, eh?

At what number do you feel the measures taken would have been sufficient?

    100k deaths?
    500k?
    1m?

If the virus causes major long term health complications would that number be higher or lower?

So you really don't have any "hard numbers"?
    Gee wiz, that's surprising.

Did you forget that the Sars-CoV-2 virus was the topic?

I am not the one whining that we overreacted. I have already stated my hard number.

How many people should have died before greed needed to take a backseat in your world?

Here's a milestone that I am watching and tracking.

The day that the US passes the EU in terms of Mortality, Per Capita.

Whether you use the rolling 7 day average, or the rolling 3 day average, that moment will happen in about 8.6 Days.

Apparently the Left thought that one death was sufficient.

Might have to adjust the number of deaths in America...

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/o...to-get-even-worse/ar-BB13cvkE?ocid=spartandhp

I'm going out on a limb and saying if this story is true then the number of C19 deaths in America is inflated. It would the primary "choice" of medical personal to use as the cause of death these days for anyone who dies of medical issues over the age of 50 I would wager.

So we have more and more info about how wide spread this virus is and how many people have been infected, and now info on a possible over statement of related deaths. The true death rate is going lower and lower.

Yep, it means that we really need to discount as 'death due to Covid-19' two thirds of the submitted death certificates. But I don't think it's a massive miscount due to incompetence. I will admit, however, to being a cynic.

You haven't presented one minute shred of evidence to demonstrate that any of the government actions prevented one infection.

And, you keep forgetting that any curve flattening that we hypothetically could have achieved, does not result in less infections.

And, you have zero data to demonstrate any flattening of any curve, with zero ability to determine any quantitative measure of time for spreading out of infections.

Your "You're a big meanie head" argument is stale.

Why bother responding if you are incapable of answering such a simple question.
    The deflection is fascinating however.

I never said I did, I asked a simple question and am now getting to enjoy the deflection dance by numerous cons. Fun times.

    ok

Well that's just so nice that you approve of others doing the economic suffering for you while you sit unaffected.

Will you stay home should you become infected, even if facing death, because you don't want to share the virus with your fellow humans in the healthcare profession?

No, you stated something about "hard numbers".

"Hard numbers" of what, and what is your point of sharing those "hard numbers"?

Or were you just trying to formulate a "You're a big meanie head because you're not as alarmed as me" argument?

Inside Dem Party controlled Houston, Texas the murder rate is up 63% since this lockdown. How many deaths caused by the Left playing panic-politics is too many deaths? Give us a hard number.

I could care less what “others” do, I am not the one telling people they should quarantine nor am I telling people they should be forced to ho back to work. Cute projection attempt though.

    What?

What number makes a measure of unproven efficacy sufficient?
