So anyone still think a Citizen Initiated Referendum system in the Australian Govt is still a bad idea? Look at these parasites going to now charge us a tax on top of the GloBULL warming tax. These politician no longer work for us they work for Goldman sachs!

So will the GST apply to carbon tax or not? Shorten won't say

WORKPLACE relations minister, Bill Shorten, played his best game of dodgeball on a radio interview on the carbon tax today.

2GB radio presenter, Ben Fordham, tried to get the minister to answer definitively whether Australians would face a "tax on tax" after it was revealed that the GST would be applied to all power bills on top of the carbon tax.

But Mr Shorten wouldn't be drawn, saying he'd been too busy dealing with the quadbikes disaster in X to know the latest on the GST carbon pricing.

"That issue is going to be worked out", he said.

The interview got a wee bit heated. Watch the full interview above.

When you're ruling over a bunch of sheep that argue about the red and blue corners that's what you deservedly get.

You know that age old proverb, divide and conquer.

It wouldn`t be possible / practicle to calculate the cost of the carbon tax on any given item, to allow for it to be excluded from the GST, particularly when the cost of fuel comes under the carbon tax.

That is correct aussie and the parasites know it even if they try to deny it, as a matter of fact one minute they deny that the GST will be applied and next they admit it. Something has got to give with these out of control parasites ruling us with lie after lie after lie!

    Gentlemen

I agree 100%, treasury models are after all computer model projections so to estimate the exact cost of the carbon tax say on a tomatoe or some red meat or a litre of milk or a shiatsu massage or a game of indoor soccer.

Well you can imagine the amount of statistical data that would have to be pumped into the computer and that is if there is a program that can take that amount of information and do some sort of job in processing it.

Treasury models in predicting the effects of the carbon tax are primitive at best imo and cannot take into account the finer details.

Its no wonder that the governments modelling of the carbon tax hasn't been hung out to dry.
